"You look... Great" Jake said

We were in his car. Before leaving mum had insisted in taking a photo of both of us, since we were so well dressed. It was just a party, for crying out loud!

"Thanks" I said, turning my face to the window as I blushed

"You're not going to say anything about me? Like how sexy and hot I am in this suit?" He said, mocking me

I rolled my eyes "Yes Jake, you're so hot tonight, like you've never been"

"I knew you had feelings for me down deep inside" He said, winking

"Sure Jake, you caught me"

"You can't resist me. No one can"

"Big-headed"

"I'm just being realistic"

"You're dreaming"

"No, I'm not" He said, turning to me

"Eyes on the road Jake" I reminded him

He faced the road, his smug smile on his face.

When we reached Sasha's house, I was practically bored to death. Jake hadn't talked, pleased with what I had said, even though he knew I was joking

"Oh thank God, I thought we were never gonna make it"

"Come on Kristen, some trust"

"I was so bored!"

"That's because you're boring"

"No, no. Don't blame this on me. You're the boring one"

"I love arguing with you" He said smiling, wrapping his arm around my waist as we made our way to the door

"I don't" I said

I rang the bell and waited until someone opened us the door. Meanwhile, Jake's hand was making his way to my butt, so I snapped it away.

"Heeey" Who I assumed was Sasha said, a little bit too drunk

"Hi" Jake answered, in the same tone Sasha used, mocking her

She giggled "You're my type" She said, grabbing him by the tye. He caught my hand as she dragged him inside.

I was resisting my urge to laugh. His face was hilarious. I walked right behind him, as he was holding my hand, not letting go of it. I couldn't help it anymore and I let out a laugh

"Stop laughing and help me" He hissed at me when Sasha wasn't looking.

"Ha ha ha" He laughed when Sasha looked

"I have to go to the bathroom" I said, smiling smugly at Jake

"I'll go with you" He quickly said

"No, no. You stay here and enjoy your company"

I got up and walked away from him. The music was at full blast, making the entire house bump up and down at the same time the music did. The house was full, it was like the whole school was there. Some people were a little bit close, sharing the same spit. I decided not to go upstairs, afraid to see what was happening in the rooms.

"Hey pretty" Some drunken guy said

I pushed him aside and kept walking, wanting to go outside to breath in some fresh air.

"Krist" I heard Kim said

She was at the furthest she could be from me, waving like crazy from the back of the garden
