(A/N) I have a collection in We Heart It where I post all the outfits that inspire this fic. The link is in my bio, if you want to check it out.

When Harry had won the first place in the annual journalism editorial contest, it was because he had truly worked for it. Many people had doubted him, when he had told them his article was going to be about the Camden Passage flea market. Other students were writing about politics, about economics, or other equally relevant topics.

The reason Harry didn't choose that type of subject, was because he believed that great works had some of the writer's soul in them. Harry couldn't put his very personal imprint in a political argument; he was not an expert, he couldn't do much more than research a lot. However, he could become an expert in flea markets.

Harry had gone to the Camden Passage almost every day for the time he wrote the article. He had put all of his senses so he could understand the colours, textures, sounds, smells or tastes just right. He had chatted with the owners of the small shops, with the locals that visited regularly, with the travelers that enjoyed some hipster tourism.

Only when he had gotten the essence of the market, then he felt ready to add his own in the article. And he won.

So when Niall have him his little speech, Harry genuinely understood what he was talking about. So far, Harry had only done what a good assistant was expected to. But Harry wasn't one to settle with good. If he wanted to be outstanding in his job, then he had to do what he did when he wrote his Camden article. He needed to completely immerse himself into that new world: the fashion world.

"I'm still not sure what you're trying to do, but I'll help you," Niall said when he walked Harry to the wardrobe department, "Luckily, you've got the figure to be a model. There's certain feminine roundness in your thighs, but we can work with that,"

"M'thighs are not feminine," Harry frowned.

"C'mon, Harry, I don't have all day," Niall dragged him and started searching through a rack of clothes, "These are all sample pieces but I'm sure there's something for you here. Now, take this,"

"A coat?" Harry eyed the dark, very expensive looking, item.

"You'll take what I give you and you'll like it," Niall scolded, "And it's a Chesterfield coat,"

Niall proceeded to hand Harry a very nice, black jacket. Then he moved on to searching and giving him more clothes, "Tom Ford, Ralph, and some Lanvin. Burberry! Obviously. You need good jeans too,"

Harry could see Niall's eyes glistening with joy as he handed him more and more clothing.

"Any particular garment you'd like to try?" Niall asked.

"I like your shirt?" Harry hesitated, but it wasn't a lie.

Niall perked up, "Thanks," he smiled, "Prints are a major trend. So let's get to that. Follow me,"

"Alright," Harry chuckled.

"You still have the boots I gave you a while ago, right?" Niall asked when they had all the clothes Niall considered Harry needed.

"Yeah, I've worn them a couple of times after that,"

"Yeah, yeah, I remember. Well, those will be your best friends for now on, but you need more,"

Harry ended up with four more pairs of boots and a pair of black, Nike sneakers that he liked very much.

"Off we go. To the beauty department," Niall prompted.
