Harry's hair was getting so long. Some curls already touched his shoulders. He had never worn it that way, but he liked it. He looked older, and judging by the looks that women gave him on the streets, he looked good too.
He ran his hand through his curls for the fiftieth time while checking the clock. Luke hadn't come yet to give him the Book and it was already ten past eight. He had Louis' dry-cleaning ready, so all he could do was wait. Harry sat back and resumed playing Candy Crush.
"Hi, Harry. Sorry we took so long," Luke said when he walked in.
Harry locked his phone, not caring about the current game, "It's alright. Thanks, Luke,"
He continued playing as Preston took him to Louis' place.
Telling his driver he wasn't going to take long, Harry got out of the car. He silently let himself in Louis' house.
He placed the Book in the table with the flowers, which were always fresh. The closet where he was supposed to leave the clothes was near the table, and Harry always took the plastic bags off the garments.
As he did so, he suddenly heard a big commotion.
He turned around and found Jack jumping down the stairs while holding a stuffed animal on his mouth. A blond little girl came running down behind him while yelling him to stop; and then one more girl alike running right behind her and screaming the same sort of stuff.
Jack jumped over the last two steps and kept running, the first girl did too. The last one didn't have such ability. Trying to jump, she fell on her hands and knees and even SWIVELED a little over the rug.
"Ow," the girl complained.
"Daisy!" her sister exclaimed forgetting about the pug.
Harry found himself instantly cutting the distance between them, and kneeling besides Daisy "Are you okay, love?"
"No," Daisy pouted while accepting Harry's help to get up.
She was wearing pink shorts, so Harry noticed tiny droplets of blood scattered around her knees. He knew that type of scrapes; he had suffered his fair share while infant, chasing Gemma around the backyard while pretending to be a pirate that wanted to capture the princess. Happy days. Even more because Gemma also agreed to change the roles, because sometimes Harry wanted to play the prince.
"What do you say we wash up those knees?" Harry offered.
Daisy only nodded, pouting and trying to contain the tears, and without letting go of Harry's hand.
"Who are you?" her sister, Phoebe, asked.
"My name's Harry. I work with your brother," He smiled at them.
"Why are you wearing a flower shirt?" again, Phoebe asked.
Harry chuckled. "Because I like it. Don't you?"
Phoebe only giggled at that.
"I've told you girls to not run around the house," Evelin, the housekeeper, scolded as she walked down the stairs, "Oh, hello, Harry," she greeted after noticing him.
"Hi, Eve. Just came by to drop the Book off. Uh, is Louis home?" Harry asked, looking around as if Louis could appear at any second.
"No, he isn't yet," she gave him a tight smile, "But thank you, I'll get the first aid kit and take care of this girl."
"No, Harry, you do it," Daisy complained tugging from the hand she was still holding.
"Okay," the woman replied before turning back.
