(A/N) Hi, I hope everyone had happy holidays! Kinda short chapter but I hope you enjoy! Feedback is so very welcomed.

Louis and Niall did a great job at the gala, Yinquin was very excited about the possibility of being a part of Runway. To have a more private, but still informal talk, she agreed to meet Louis for lunch and a chat.

The meeting turned out to be successful and they already had a date set so she could go visit Louis at his office after Paris to talk more business.

After she left, Louis ordered a Panini because he knew how much Niall loved the food from that restaurant.

As he waited for the food, Louis sent Liam a text: On my way. I want tea ready.

He wasn't that far from the office, maybe Harry wouldn't have enough time to run to Starbucks to get his tea. Whatever, Harry would manage; he always managed to have things ready.

Harry was... well, he was something.

He wasn't the nerdy, lanky boy Louis had hired anymore. Or maybe he was, but not in a bad way.

Now, not only Harry dressed immaculately, but he also committed to his job like few others. He never slacked, he never complained, he always did what was told. Furthermore, he did it with pleasure, and with the most beautiful smile.

Harry was dedicated, and honest, and brilliant.

Also, he was Louis' assistant.

Which kind of scared Louis, because he actually cared for that boy more than he was aware of. The night of the gala was proof enough for him. His skin crawled just thinking about Harry hanging with the wrong people in the business.

Louis had more connections than anyone could ever. Didn't Harry realise that? Louis could help him get into any publishing house, if he just waited a bit. Because Louis wasn't ready to let go of him and that warmth of his.

Alberto parked the car and Louis got out.

Before walking into his office, Louis went to the small kitchen to put Niall's food in the fridge; he'd text him later to let him know.

But a few steps away from the kitchen he heard someone humming.

Louis peeked out at the kitchen and yes, it was actually Harry humming a song.

He was on his phone, typing or scrolling or whatever, and the electric kettle was on.

He thought on going in, but then he noticed a Starbucks cup and its lid besides it.

Harry locked his phone and put it in his pocket. He reached to open a cupboard and took out a box. A tea bag came from that box.

Louis silently observed as Harry put the tea bag in the cup, and then added hot water.

Harry was making the tea himself.

Louis took two steps back and then ran to Niall's office.

Niall looked at him and then back at his computer screen.

"Hey, Tommo, what's up?"

Louis just put the bag on Niall's desk, too confused to talk.

"What's that?" Niall asked.

"It's, um, that Spanish panini you like," Louis answered still on auto-pilot.

"Oh yes? Thanks, mate!" Niall answered looking inside the brown bag. "What's the matter?" he asked when he saw zombie-Louis.
