It's been almost a year since Taylor's "death".

Mark and me are still searching for a way to get him and the other men out, we even have there location, their routine and other info; but every time we try to go in, there is always a problem that arises.

"Your going to freeze out here." I turn my head and look at Mark who puts a thick blanket over my shoulders as he sits next to me.

"I'll be fine." I say holding the blanket close to me, warming my icy skin.

Mark pulls me closer to him and warps both of his arms around me, sending memories rushing into my head of all the times Taylor did the exact same thing.

"Mark....I..." I go to get out of his hold, but he holds me even tighter.

"Krisa, its ok to remember all the good things that happened with Taylor and you." he says putting his head on my shoulder.

"I don't want to have the happy memories trick me into believing ill get more of them." I whisper watching the water ripple in the light, fog filled breeze.

Mark picks up a little stone from the ground next to us on the bank of the lake and rolls it in between his fingers, letting the smooth surface rub his rough skin. I watch as he plays with the stone in both hands right in front of me, then he throws it a crossed the lakes mirroring face, it hops 4 to five times before I hear the hollow thump of it breaking the surface to sink to the mossy bottom.

"Krisa did you ever hear how Taylor reacted to when you almost drowned?" Mark says already gone in the memory.

Now that he brings it up, I have never heard the whole story, no one would tell me everything that happened.

"No." I whisper thinking back to how it felt to not be able to breath and to just feel.....so......helpless.

"After you fell off the dock because Cody pushed you, Taylor laughed; but when you didn't come up , he started to panic. He ran into the house like a maniac yelling at Charlie and me to come help, before we could even ask him what was wrong, he was out the door." Mark says in a distant voice, remembering exactly what was going on that day just like it was an hour ago.

"When we got outside, Cody was balling like a baby; Taylor was already in the water trying to find you. Charlie was trying to find out what was going on from Cody, But I didn't see you and From how Taylor ran into the house like that I knew it had to be something wrong involving you." Mark laughs a little, then holds me a little closer.

"Krisa, Taylor has always loved you more than anything else; he would never leave you to fight alone, so right now just know that he still is keeping that promise." he kisses my cheek lightly in a brotherly way, "he will be back. I will bring him back." Mark says with a cold, serious voice.

He stands up making the warm body heat escape from my body, "I'll see you when I get back." he says and I hear his footsteps crunch away in the frosted covered grass.

Once his footsteps are gone, I let the wind blow my hair around and stick in random places; I hear the birds chirping in the distance and let a few memoires spine around in my head.

Mark left that night with the rest of All Will Be Free to go and try to bring Taylor back.

My heart beating quickly to try and figure out if it should be preparing itself for a lifetime of joy or a agonizing heart break for the second time..........
