(Angel's POV)

"Are you ready?" He asks.

"Yeah, but, are you sure we can skip?" I ask.

"Are you telling me, you've never skipped college or school before?"

I slowly shake my head and look down.

He chuckles then lifts my chin up with his finger.

"We don't have to, if you don't want to." He whispers gently, his breath hitting my lips.

"I-I want to." I say.

He smiles and connects our lips.

"I'm making a rebel out of you." He whispers and I smile a small smile.

"I like it." I say and kiss him again.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me closer.

"Whatever happens today, it's all going to be fine. Ok?" He says hugging me.

I nod slowly.

"I love you, Angel." He says with full confidence.

I smile before kissing him again.

I want to say it, but, this isn't the right moment yet.

He then intertwines our fingers and we leave.

He's going to help me find my father.

I get in his car and he begins to drive.

"Where to first?" I ask.

"Your house." He says.

"What? Why?"

"You'll get your Mom's diary and come back."

"Oh. Ok."

We get off campus and I feel weird.

I have never skipped before.

"Do you have any idea who it might be?" He asks.

"No. I don't think so."

"Maybe it's someone you know. I've heard of a girl in our town. Elena, I think was her name."

"Yeah. She's my friend."

"Well, her birth parents gave her to her uncle. So, maybe one of your uncles is your father."

"Do you know how adorable you look, right now?"

He then smiles.

"I'm not adorable. I'm sexy." He smirks.

"Whatever you say."

"Are you denying that I'm sexy?" He asks and puts his hand over his heart in a hurt expression.

"Maybe. Maybe not."

"Oh. Simms you asked for it."
