The next day was hectic. Every contestant had seemingly lost their minds. There were people everywhere. Music could be heard from every direction as Brendon walked down the hall into the kitchen. The only person in there happened to be Dallon, his roommate, who was currently digging his spoon into a bowl of fruit loops. When he spotted Brendon he smiles softly.

"They moved you and I into an actual room together. I waited up for you, but you never came. I figured you were with that Sarah chick." He smirks, taking another bite of his cereal. Brendon chuckles softly and grabs a bowl, filling it with lucky charms and some milk before sitting across from Dallon.

"Nah." He shakes his head gently. "I was with Ryan. We stayed up late writing and going over lyrics and I guess I just ended up passing out in his room." It was true. They spent the night singing Mad as Rabbits, trying to decide who's voice sounded best at each part. When they weren't singing, they were either playing with Dottie, or talking about life in LA. If Brendon could have it his way he would have left after Ryan's blowjob, but he couldn't, they had shit to get done.

"I'm surprised you're not with joe practicing right now." Brendon changed the subject, not wanting to focus the conversation on his night with Ryan.

Dallon nodded gently, taking the bait. "I'm meeting him in five. I only just woke up." Brendon nods and lets out a soft chuckle as milk drops down Dallona shirt. "Dang it!" He groans, dabbing at the spot with a napkin. He wipes his mouth and stands up. "I'm gonna go change. Can't meet up with Joe like this." He chuckles, setting his bowl in the sink before turning back to Brendon. "I'll see you tonight."

Brendon nods gently and watches Dallon leave before digging back into his bowl of cereal. He hears a bit of laughing in the hallway and stops eating instantly. He turns his head and watches as Ryan walks into the room, hand in hand with the one and only Helena.

He pulled on a smile, but found himself wanting to throw up. They looked so wrong together. "Hey." Brendon greets them, waving softly.

Ryan and Helena both smile and sit down across from him, not grabbing any food. Under the table, Ryan presses his leg against Brendon's, making both of the boys smirk softly. "I was looking for you all over." Ryan begins, voice still rough from just having woke up. "I wanted to introduce you to Helena." Brendon raises his brows at Ryan. Why in the fuck would he want to meet her? She was the girl who was dating the guy he was hooking up with. It seemed weird for them to ever even talk to each other.

But brendon indulged him. He wiped his hands clean and smiled brightly over at Helena, sticking his hand out for her, which she quickly takes and shakes. "Hey. Ryan has told me so much about you, Helena. God, he talks about you nonstop." Ryan rolls his eyes at that but Helena blushes, her smile turning brighter by the second.

"He talks about you a lot too." She chuckles. "When I saw you preform yesterday I could see why. You're insanely talented." Brendon shakes his head at that, not wanting to seem egotistical. "I have to know where you found that song. It was incredible." Helena continues, propping her chin up on her hand. Brendon looks at Ryan for a moment, who quickly shakes his head.

Helena didn't know. She didn't know about Ryan's other songs. She didn't know he poured his heart and soul into his lyrics. She had no idea how insanely talented her boyfriend was. Brendon started to wonder if he was the only one who knew about Ryan's lyrics. "It's one of my own..." He lied, sighing gently. "I um... I'm going to go take a shower." He stammered, scratching the back of his neck as he moved to stand up. "It was great meeting you Helena." He turned to Ryan. "I'll see you later to rehearse." He turns and walks away before either of them have a chance to respond.

Lying for Ryan shouldn't have made him feel so shitty. He shouldn't have emotions about this at all. He wouldn't have emotions about this. This was just sex. He wouldn't let himself get attached.
