Chapter 10

Bex's POV

I was chained in a cage with about 8 guards around me. If my hands weren't chained together i could take them all out at once. Easily. But then i though about the fact that if Cammie screwed this all up I'd probably end up dead. So would Liz and Zach. But lucky for them they ain't as easily killed by the blue liquid. At least not yet anyways. And i hope they never will be. I remembered the time that me, Liz, and Cammie had a CovOps mission and i was surprising chosen to be the hostage. Lets just say Cammie almost got me killed by Zach and Macey. (Btw they were the 'bad guys' in the CovOps mission.) I had been tied to a chair with a metal chain and easily pickabke lock. Zach and Macey were going to inject something "deadly" into me by a shot. (it was just some sort of medication that would knock me out for a few hours) Cammie almost got me killed by instead of bringing Liz with her (like she was suppose to.) Went by herself and was only able to fight Macey while Zach injected the needle into me. Luckily though, Cammie beat Macey before Zach could inject the medication into me. We barely passed. But we did. Man if only this was one of those missions, instead, this is a real life or death moment. I looked at Zach and he looked back at me. But he had a grave look on his face as if he was deciding what flowers he should pick for my funeral. As if i was already dead. Then i knew what he meant. There was still someone else Cammie had to take out before she for to Preston. And by then Preston would kill me. Zach knew that why he wanted revenge. And he knew it wasn't just Cammie's fault. And that with him coming with her to rescue me, he put me in even more danger. He knew that i was the weakest and wanting revenge on him, Cammie, Liz, Macey, and even myself, he knew that the easiest way to begin the revenge would be getting rid of me permanently. Then i looked at Liz, who gave me the same look. Then Zach and Liz exchanged faces and smiled. Zach looked at the guard in front of my cage. I followed his gaze and realized that there was a way for them to escape. The guard had a key on his side that opened mine, Liz's, and Zach's locks. And i knew that the only ones that would be escaping first would be Zach and Liz. And so i hit the guard with my leg. He dropped the key and i kicked them to Zach. He opened his and Liz's locks, fought the guards, and held Preston hostage until Cammie came. But they left me in the cage knowing it was safer if i was locked up then free where Grant who walked into the room could get me.
