This is sick.

You might know, just from reading some of my status updates or my profile, that I'm Catholic. I don't let that get in the way of how I write or act, though. I stick to my beliefs and pray and blah blah blah.

But I was on Twitter today and I saw this trending hashtag #shoutyourabortion

The first thing I felt was surprise. I'm completely against abortion, Catholic or not, because it is just wrong. Killing a child? Who has done NOTHING wrong? Damn.

Now, I'm not saying if you had an abortion I will hate you or completely ignore you for the rest of your existence, because that's wrong as well. It IS your choice.

Abortion though, is something that is not supposed to be a choice. It's okay if you're in a dangerous pregnancy and you will not survive because of the child, that's fine. You can get abortion.

BUT IF YOU'RE COMPLETELY OKAY AND HEALTHY, THAT IS A DIFFERENT TOPIC.

I understand some kids get pregnant around teenage years, but if you get pregnant, and it's a healthy pregnancy, DO NOT ABORT THE CHILD. Wait nine months, have the child, put him/her up for adoption. That's it! If you don't want a child, just do that.

I'm really disgusted by the fact that it's even a hashtag, seriously? Some people argue it's just a fetus, and it's not.

That fetus, is a human being. If it's not human, then when you pop it out of your tummy, does it just magically turn into a human?

If you get an abortion, that child you murdered, could have been the kid who made the world a better place. Saved a life. Became the president. Cured cancer. All that gone, because you chose to end a life that hasn't even begun.

Some people, some couples can't have a child. They physically can't, and their only wish is to have a baby, and some people go around murdering them? A legal murder? No thank you.

If this rant is all over the place, I'm sorry. I'm really pissed at society right now.
