Chapter 12

I woke up, finding that Klaus was not next to me. I walked downstairs, figuring out that Klaus wasn't home. I made breakfast, bacon and eggs. I made the hybrids get me more. After it was done, I ate slowly, confused at the flavor. The bacon tasted off. I don't know if a hybrid is trying to poison me, or I pissed of a witch. Either way, the bacon didn't taste good. I finished my eggs, only taking a few bites of bacon. I was walking upstairs when a wave of nausea hit me. I ran up the stairs, into the bathroom. I emptied the contents of my stomach into the toilet, groaning. A hybrid walked in, worried. "Mckenzie, what's wrong?" I shook my head, "If you tell Klaus, I will kill you. Even better, I will give you to a hunter." The hybrid shuddered, nodding, before running out of the room. I went to go lay down in bed, sighing. I jumped into the bed, grabbing my phone. That's when I got a text. It was from Tyler. 'I just saw Klaus kissing Caroline. I'm sorry. I will be over to pick you up in a few minutes.' I looked at the picture that was attached, crying. I grabbed my bag, shoving in the essentials. I grabbed my phone and bag, running downstairs. I passed Klaus on the way, ignoring his questions. I got into Tyler's car, telling him to drive. "How could he do this to both of us? You were dating Caroline and I was dating him.  Tyler, this isn't even the worst part." I sobbed, shaking my head. "What do you mean it isn't even the worst part?" I looked over to him with sad eyes. "I think I'm pregnant, Tyler. It belongs to Klaus." He looked over to me in shock, "How is that possible? Are you going to keep it?" I glared at him, "Of course I'm going to keep it!" And Klaus and I are both half werewolf. Werewolves can procreate." He shook his head, "Why would you keep it? He cheated on you! After he threatened all the hybrids not to look at you. He is evil, who knows what the child will be like!" I just sighed, shaking my head. "Maybe you're right. Maybe I shouldn't keep it." He looked over at me in disbelief, "You're actually agreeing with me?!" I nodded, "You're my twin, we know what's best for each other. We stick together no matter what."
~Tyler's P.O.V.~
I was starting to feel guilty. Klaus never cheated on her, one of his hybrids helped me frame it. His name is James and Klaus never saw him, so he will probably last a few more days. James is in love with Mckenzie. He will be better for her than Klaus. I was thinking, when something clicked. James is still sired to Klaus. Okay, James and I might die soon. "Mckenzie, if I die, just know I'm sorry." She shook her head, eyes wide. "Why would you die? Are you afraid Klaus will come after you?" I shook my head, pulling up to a hotel outside of town. "I know he is going to kill me. Mystic Falls isn't safe for me, you, or your baby." She sighed, "I will protect you. He won't hurt me or the baby."
