Alucard, or maybe I should call him dad now? Whatever. Dad stood in the corner of my room the whole time I got dressed. As I was putting on my pants I stopped halfway up my legs an stared at him. "You still enjoying the view you perverted freak?" I smirked an raised an eyebrow. He chuckled, "Hey it's not everyday the kid appointed your godson turns out to be a good looking boy." I rolled my eyes, "How the hell are you straight?" He smiled evilly, "I can be whatever I want to be." I paused for a moment then shrugged. I grabbed one of my shirts out of the drawers an slipped into it. Alucard furrowed his brow curiously, "Why do you own a crop top?" I turned to him, "How do you KNOW what a crop top is?" My crop top actually use to be a full shirt but I ripped up the bottom of it an made it more my style. Then I grabbed a leather jacket an some leather gloves an walked out the door into the hallway. Alucard walked through the wall an stood beside me, "Aren't you forgetting shoes?" I snapped my fingers an a pair of black high top converse appeared on my feet. He looked down at my feet, "I still don't understand how you do that." I stopped walking, "You can make any demonic entity appear out of thin air an your asking me how I make converse appear on my feet?!" He shrugged an smiled again, "Hey I can't make clothing an other shit. My specialty is demonic power." I turned on my heel an walked faster down the hall. "I swear to God I don't know how Integra doesn't lose her temper more often with you." Alucards laughter filled the halls, but I wasn't scared of it anymore. It was almost calming to me now. I smiled as he continued laughing all the way down the hall. I shoved the door open to the living room an flopped down onto one of the couches leaving no room for anyone to sit down. Seras was in there along with 'cowboy'. They were sitting next to each other, Seras was reading a book while 'cowboy' had his eyes closed an he was smoking. I couldn't help but smile at the sight evilly. I chuckled, "Awe does police girl wuv her boyfriend!" Seras slammed the book she was reading an sat up with an annoyed smiled on her face. "What'd you say?" I sat up an smirked at her, "You heard me." She shook her head, "Nah I couldn't hear you, just say it one more time!" She glared at me as if saying 'I dare you'. I got up an sat on the corner of the sofa she was on. "I said, Do you wuv your boyfriend?" I smiled at her with the evilest grin on my face. She smiled evilly at me an talked through grinned teeth, "Oh you wish little prince." I laughed, "It's just a simple question all you gotta do is answer." Alucard smiled in a corner of the room I think he could already tell what I was planing to do. "Two things. 'A'..." She punched me in the gut an I grunted in pain. "He's not my boyfriend. And 'B'..." She brought her knee up to smack me in the jaw making me wince. "Yes I'm enjoying his company." I chuckled an rubbed my jaw as I looked down at her. "Oh so then he wouldn't mind if I did this?" Before she could question what it was I grabbed the bottom of her chin an kissed her. She seemed surprised for a moment an I could feel her face turn red as I kissed her. Finally she shoved me off an glared at me her cheeks bright red. "What the hell was that for?" Alucard started laughing quietly in the corner. I smirked an turned away, "Just thought I'd pull a little joke." I walked over to the tv an turned on the gaming station I hooked into it. As I sat down on the couch I turned an smiled a toothy grin showing my fangs. "Oh an the little fight we're having of who 'gets' Alucard... I'm done playing." She glared at me as if unhappy with my quitting, "Why?!" I smirked an leaned back into the couch, "Cause I already won." Alucards laughter grew louder behind me. "Oh you kids are funny to watch!" I chuckled, "You should've seen us when we were kids then." I started playing shoot-em-up games, (like Call of Duty, or Halo or whatever game you want me to play. It could be Kingdom Hearts for all I care too :p.) Suddenly Seras stepped in front of the tv. I heard myself die an I frowned at her, "What the hell?!" I tossed the remote to the side an stood up. "What'd you do that for? All I did was kiss you!!!" She scowled at me an pushed me backwards. "That's it that's the thing! You changed sense you became a vampire an it's weird!" I laughed an spread my arms out, "Oh I'm still the same I just have more guts to do things I wouldn't normal of done before!" She blushed more an stared at the floor. My hands fell to my sides, wait did she like me? Oh jeez what if I just broke her heart! Even now that I'm a demon I still have a soft spot for breaking girls hearts. My anger vanished an I snapped my fingers an the tv turned off. I pinched the bridge of my nose an sighed, "Seras I'm sorry if I upset you its just..." Suddenly she smacked me across the face an my eyes widened with shock. She ran out the door after I'd turned my head to look back at her. "Seras! I'm sorry!" I heard her footsteps running down the hall, "Shit did I just lose the only real friend I've had?" I burst through the door an ran after her. "Seras!" I was hot of her heals but she ran faster twisting an turning down the hallways. "Seras please stop!" I grabbed her arm an pulled her to a stop. She glared at me, there were tears in her eyes. Just looking at her like that made me want to start crying myself. "Seras please I'm sorry I..." "Sorry for what Alic?! For kissing me? For leaving me behind 4 years ago? What? What are you sorry for?!" I grabbed both her wrists as she tried to get away, "I'm sorry for everything! I'm trying to get stronger to help you!" Her face grew red with anger, "Right an this will make you stronger!" I shook my head, "Yes! I'm mean no!" "What is this a game to you?!" "No!" "Then what is it!" I pushed her against the wall an grabbed tightly into her shoulders, "I CAN'T LOSE YOU AGAIN!!!" My eyes were wide with fear an tears were starting to form in my eyes. My head fell as the tears started to fall, "I can't...I'm not...not strong enough..." All of her anger vanished an she looked at me with a new found respect. "She placed her hands on my shoulders as my hands fell back down to my sides. "You are strong you just don't realize it yet Alic." Then he pulled me into a hug. We both cried as we stood there, I cried for her, she cried for me, we cried for each other. "I can't lose you. Your my only friend Seras..." My voice came out quiet an I sounded an felt like a little kid crying in front of her. "Your not going to lose me too. I promise." I promise... I remembered a time long ago when she last said that to me. We were young, probably about 6 or 7 years old. My family and her family had become great friends so when ever they'd have a dinner party we would have to play with one another. At first it was annoying because we didn't know each other an when your 6 you don't exactly know how to talk to girls at that point. It was Christmas an we were hanging out by the fireplace while our parents made dinner. We made a promise to each other that night. We said that we'd always be together an that if anyone of us was hurt or taken we'd do everything in our power to get them better or back. We both promised. I promise. I let go of her an watched her tears fall silently down her cheeks. I wiped her tears away, "I'm sorry I left you Seras. But I still kept my promise." She smiled an looked down at the floor, "Yea, yea you did." Then she punched me in the gut. I groan an double over, "And it better stay that way!"
