Looking at the sheets in disgust I slid off the bed and traced a finger along the cuts. The blood covered my fingers and hands like caramel on a caramel apple. My hands fell to my sides and I feel the wounds begin to burn. I opened my mouth and the cuts began to heal themselves, except in an unnatural way.
Large pairs of pointed teeth filled the gaps, giving me a sinister and more monster like characteristic.
After closing my mouth they seemed to disappear and my face looked normal. I smiled at Jeff a chuckle rolling off my tongue.
"Oh Jeffery..."
My eyes glowed red once more, "...you shouldn't attack your host. You don't know what he might do to you in return."
I snickered and made my way across the room and out the door. I whistled and Demon came prancing after me, his large tongue hanging out of his mouth lazily.
I slammed the door shut and laughed as I made my way down the hall.
I had changed my clothes, they were baggy and fit loosely on my body. I had grey sweats on and a plain black shirt, no shoes of course.
My hair was up in a messy ponytail and it bounced on my head as I walked.
I walked past Seras talking with Captian Cowboy, Alucard was no where to be seen of course, and the guards that often patrolled the area.
Shoving my hands into my pockets I didn't stop walking until I realized I was out in the garden. Frowning I shrugged and stopped in front of a small stone gargoyle. It's wings were spread ready for flight, its claws reaching towards me, mouth wide open and its teeth sharp. It was an ugly creature, and I chuckled as I thought of why someone would want that in their garden.
The wind suddenly picked up and I looked up into the early morning sky. I watched the leaves dance in the wind for a moment before I collapsed onto the grass.
I sighed, my arms and legs spread wide.
"What on earth have I gotten myself into?"
This was the first time I was actually worried about my position in this game Hellsing was playing.
The short German man with the insane smile flashed in my mind and I winced at the thought of him. Dem was sprawled out next to me biting his leg to get an itch.
Sighing once more I closed my eyes and remembered my life before all this. Living in the castle no worries whatsoever, everything done for me unless I said so, wearing the best clothes, eating the best food.
I frowned and shook my head, I was more of a pampered baby than I was a growing child. Before the accident I hadn't even known how to tie my own shoes or button up a shirt. No matter how much I missed my family, my life here was far better than being told what to do and say. If I ever have to take the throne, which may not happen, I'll make sure to live my life the way I want it not the one everyone else wants me to have.
I sighed once more than froze suddenly.
Someone was watching me.
Lifting my head I saw a boy standing over me.
I sat up and quickly rolled away from him.
He chuckled but didn't say anything, he just stared at me with a smile on his face.
I frowned and cocked my head to the side, "Who are you and what are you?"
The boy had short blonde hair with fuzzy black ears popping out of his head, and a black tail swinging back and forth behind him.
But what caught my attention was that he was wearing a Nazi uniform.
He smiled and swung back and forth on his feet, "My name is Schrödinger, I am werecat."
I raised an eyebrow and clenched my hands, "How'd you get here?"
He smiled evilly this time, "I am every vhere and no vhere."
My jaw tightened and my leg muscles flexed ready to run if I had to.
Schrödinger snickered, "Vhere do you think you'd run? To Ms. Integra? To Seras?..."
He smirked, "...To Alucard?"
I growled, "You think low of me if you think I'd run to any of them like a lost pup!"
I spat at him, he didn't seem to care.
"Tsk, tsk, oh Alic..."
My eyes widened when he said my name and I took a step back.
"...you are a lost pup."
He grinned and his eyes glowed bright yellow like the moon. Snarling I stood my ground, my eyes shown blood red in the dark of the early morning light.
He lunged at me and I threw myself to the side and swung him into the gargoyle statue.
The statue crumbled and the boy seemed hardly dazed.
"Well I'm fucked aren't I!"
I ducked as he threw the stone gargoyle at my head.
I growled, "Hey! Not the face you little bitch!"
I snatched it off the ground and threw it back at him, smacking him right in the middle of his chest.
He grinned from where he was sprawled on the ground, "Alas, I 'ave not come to vight."
I growled and looked at him in disgust, "Den vhy are you 'ere in ze first place?!"
Glaring at him he chuckled at my mocking accent and stood.
He was in my face faster than I could realize, "To torment you."
His hands covered my eyes and my mouth. It felt as though he were a cobra, slowly wrapping itself tighter and tighter around me trying to squeeze the life out of me. I couldn't breath even though my nose was still exposed to the early morning air.
Then I felt something long and sharp getting stabbed into my neck. I struggled more as I realized what it was.
It was a needle, and whatever what was in it wasn't good.
He released me and I gasped as I fell to my knees. My veins started to burn as the mystery liquid flooded through my body. I choked and my eyes started to burn like he'd lit my eyes on fire.
I saw him smile then disappear as I crumbled onto the grass. My whole body shook as I lay there, I couldn't move.
Demon whined and I choked again.
I looked towards the house, "..t..th..there..."
Demon looked at the house then back to me quickly. And before I could even try and say anything more he pushed his head under my back and threw me into his back. He ran as fast as he could to the house and barreled through the open back door.
The last thing I saw before I blacked out was Alucard staring at me, his face shocked, but his eyes told a different story.
