Karim: WELCOME TO FABULOUS KARIM'S INTERVIEW. Hello world, our new guest today is Em. Hi Em! So how can you describe yourself as a fan?Em: Hey there! Crazy. I have arguments in the comment sections when people talk bad about it or when they completely get the point wrong. Some people just don't read properly.
Karim: Woah there! I just hope no one said nasty things to you. Anyway, what was your first impression to the book Storm and silence?
Em: $ex and more $ex.
Hear me out. The description absolutely said nothing about the book other than it will be about a hot guy and a hot girl. And it description sounded like it was about a man punishing a woman in a very 'adult' way (sorry Sir Rob). Which is what most Wattpad stories are nowadays. I keep seeing it on my 'Suggested Stories' on Wattpad but refused to read it because I thought it was erotica. I was wrong.Karim: Wow! You really thought of that? Didn't you consider why there's a headless man in the cover? Like it represent 1800s era, not erotica or something?
Em: From a girl who's been in Wattpad since 2010. I think anything with men in suits gives you a erotica feel and the description sort of sounded like it. I was wrong though.
Karim: Lol, you have a good point though. Stories nowadays is all about erotica, there's only a little romance, sadly.
Em: *Nods* that's why I'm glad Storm and Silence came into my life!
Karim: I agree to that. It is one of the best literature I've ever seen. After reading a few chapters, did your impression change? How?
Em: Then I remembered not to judge a book by it's cover and gave the first chapter a chance. At first I definitely didn't understand what was going on. I was like he a he or she a she? But then what caught my attention was about this Ambrose. Ambrose this and Ambrose that. I was hooked by this Ambrose. My impression definitely changed when Lilly was in jail and I realised she's a feisty one who give no damn about men. MOST OF ALL I LIKED THE SETTING. MY WORD. THE VICTORIAN SETTING IS BRILLIANT. That's how I found out it's not erotica.
Karim: Yeah, you should know my quote in life: "Don't judge a book, cover it." And I bet you think Lilly is crazy!
Lilly: I beg you pardon?!
Ella: Only crazy ones will steal uncle's trousers and talk to her own reflection, my dear sister.
Lilly: Ella! I am doing this for you and for all women, it is for our freedom!
Uncle Bufford: But still, you look like a crazy madwoman or man...
Lilly: Uncle Buffi!
Rikkard: ... *cold stare*
Em: Hahaha I honestly don't even think Lilly is crazy. She's a MADWOMAN.
Karim: Definitely! At last someone says it!
Karim: If you can rate how much you love Storm and Silence, what will you rate and why?
Em: Definitely a 9.9/10. Why? I love almost everything about Storm and Silence. Lilly is amazing and Mr. Ambrose is a FINE man. However, I found myself wanting to skipp the parts about Ella and Edmund. No offence but I wasn't too fond of their love story. It reminds me too much of Romeo and Juliet and I absolutely hate that play. NEVERTHELESS, Lilly and Ambrose make up for that part of the story.
Karim: If I twirl gracefully and perform a performance, will you make it a perfect 10? And yeah, Ella and Edmund is irritating, they are like a married horny couple.
Em: Haha as much as I love you Karim. It's a no. But yeah I seriously don't like Ella and Edmund together. As individual characters I like them but as a couple? Not really.
