Lauren blinked several times before fully opening her eyes. Looking down she realized that Camila was still cuddled up on her. Lauren didn't have the heart to wake the younger woman up so this gave her the time to analyze the brown-eyed girl.

Lauren noticed how long Camila's lashes were and how the younger girl tends to breathe through both her mouth and nose. Lauren brushed the stray strand of hair covering Camila's face and carefully tucked it at the back of her ear. This movement didn't go unnoticed by the younger girl and she starts to stir awake.

"Good morning Lo." Camila looked up and gave Lauren a smile with her half-lidded eyes.

Caught in the moment, Lauren wasn't able to respond to the younger girl and just continued to stare. Noticing the lack of response the younger girl raised an eyebrow and giggled lightly. Snapping out of the trance, Lauren blushed furiously and muttered a greeting to the younger girl.

"We should get up Camz."

Camila didn't want to get up if she was being honest. Being wrapped around Lauren's arms felt like home. They haven't cuddled since their high school days, much simpler days. Camila got up against her will and both girls went their ways to prepare for the day ahead.

"Thank you so much Aunty Sinu and Uncle Alejandro, I appreciate everything you've done for me." Lauren extended her thanks to Camila's parents. She was very grateful that they let her stay in for the night and if she was being completely honest, she missed being with the Cabellos.

"Nonsense Lauren! Mija you're always welcome here, you're like a third daughter to us so please keep in mind that anytime you need anything, we're here." Sinu Cabello the enveloped Lauren into a hug and the green-eyed beauty reveled in the warmth of the older woman.

Lauren then turned around to give Sofi a hug. She'll indeed miss the energy that the younger Cabello possessed.

"Come back and play Snakes and Ladders with me Lauren. Kaki doesn't like my board games."

"I play Jenga with you!" The older Cabello argued but Sofi wasn't having any of it.

"That's not a board game Kaks!"

Lauren laughed at the exchange between the two Cabellos and just proceeded to hug Sofi again, tighter this time.

"I'll come back and play board games with you Sof, I promise."

Camila was smiling so wide watching the exchange in the sidelines. It was then she decided that she wasn't over Lauren and she'll do everything in her power to show Lauren that they were meant to be.

"Thanks for driving me Camz, you didn't have to do it."

"Exactly I didn't have to but I wanted to Lo, this ain't a problem."

They were driving towards Lauren's house and they fell into a comfortable silence with just the radio on.

"Oh my God! I love this song," Lauren started belting out the lyrics and she danced on her seat with her arms flailing wherever.

Camila started laughing at the older girl and she was happy to see Lauren comfortable and carefree.
