I'm the Matatabi. I'm the two-tailed beast Jinchuuriki. How? Why me?
I look down to the cold, white face on my small lap, blood weeping through my simple, brown cloth dress. His pale blue eyes are glazed over, and I gently close them, my mind numbly ricocheting commands all over my dazed body. My silver tears fall onto his cheeks as I hunch over his lifeless body, cradling his head like a newborn child. I remember that smile on his roguishly handsome face as his life spirit was drawn from him with a whisper of courage tingling on my ears. Even to the last moments he was thinking about others. A voice echos in my mind,
'At least he died a true Raikage... Protecting his people. There's a place for him in the Home. In the Home. In that world after this one where all the good souls sleep sound.'
I gently lay down his head on the stone floor as I remember suddenly what he died to protect. I grab my golden kunai and leap to the door and frantically fumble with the keys, my breaths coming in rapid succession. Finally I manage open the door and I behold a horrific scene in front of me. There stood my father, bloody and proud, with a defiant look in his eyes. One of his arms was held under the other... And as he withdrew it I scream. A mutilated, crimson stump emerges from his sleeve, and he winks at me.
"FATHER! STOP IT! STOP IT NOW!" I scream, starting to run to him.
"NO, AIKO, STOP!" He shouted, forcing me back against the door with chakra.
"Father... Please..." I whisper, my cheeks wet and my eyes pleading. Orochimaru stands a couple meters from my father, a smirk going from pallid cheek to pallid cheek. I glare at him, something boiling in my stomach. My blood rushes in my ears. I feel my eyes focusing from the tears, and onto him,
"You... You scum! You killed the Raikage!" I shout, my young voice cracking under the strain of fear. Orochimaru shrugs.
"He killed himself. I was aiming at him." He jerks his head to my father, who was wrapping up his stump in bandages he had ripped from his cloak.
"Aiko, get help! Tell A!" My father groaned as he tied off the bandage, referring to his powerful friend in the village, Lord A. I nodded and began to run.
"Hmm...we can't have that now, can we?" I hear something whistling behind me and I turn just in time to deflect a dark kunai off my own, "Very good, Tora... Let's see what else you can do!" Orochimaru laughs and something flies through the air toward me. A snake. It hits the ground and slithers to me. If there's anything I feared it was snakes. I gulp and hold in the scream.
"AIKO! RUN!" My father shouts, as he leaps to Orochimaru, his sword extended out straight, its tip surrounded by blue chakra. No. I was tired of running. I would fight! I wait until the snake is about a feet in front of me. Then it leaps, it's fangs wide open, ready to snap down onto me, crushing my bones. Just as the snake is about to bite down on my neck I bring up the kunai and thrust it into it's mouth. It bites down onto the kunai, its poisonous fangs denting the metal slightly. Concentrating immensely I use the Tora clan Kekki Genkai and I transfer my silver chakra into a small but sharp axe leaning on the wall. It comes soaring through the air and smashes down on the snake's back, snapping the bone. As it does, I hear another thing soaring through the air toward me. I look up to see Orochimaru's face and elongated neck launching toward me. I then feel myself being knocked to the side as my father jumps in front of me, just as a silver flash aims at my heart. A grunt and meaty smack follows it. I look down. It happened again. My father was dead. I stared down at his body, the katana protruding from his throat. Then nothing. I feel nothing.
And then I slowly move my eyes to the pale figure who's filthy shadow lay across the lifeless body of my father.
My nails elongate into long, sharp talons. My eyes turn blue and feral. My hair stands on end. I leap at Orochimaru, silver chakra enveloping my small body, my claws aimed at his throat.
"DIE!" I scream, and I feel my claws connect with something. His hand. My claws were stuck through his hand, blood dripping onto the ground. How? Why? Why hadn't he just killed me? He shook me off his hand and kicked me to the floor,
"Good children don't attack superiors, Aiko. You have power in you... Power I yearn to take..."And with that I feel something tear through my cheek. And then everything goes black.'
