"What the hell were you doing, Kumiko?! Aiko could've been seriously hurt!" Tanno shouted, his face bright red and his eyes glaring down at a small girl around my age.

"Gawd, Tanno! It's not MY fault that she was petting MY horse, Princess!" The girl whined. I grimaced at the annoying sound. The girl was really quite pretty, with a rosy complexion and the same golden hair and sea green eyes as Tanno. I assumed they were siblings. She was wearing a plaid yellow, puffy dress which had dainty flower vines stitched into it.

"Kumi, seriously? You know that's not your horse..." Tanno muttered, rubbing his eyes. Kumiko, the girl, opened her mouth wide, showing perfect pearly teeth.

"TANNO!! THAT'S NOT TRUE! YOU'RE LYING, PRINCESS IS MY HORSE!" She screamed, very much like when she had startled the horse in the stables. I rolled my eyes, and turned back to Kakashi, who was sitting opposite me on the fence I was perched on. He was scratching the back of his head, and raising an eyebrow in her direction,

"Thank god I don't have to deal with that brat..." He muttered. I chuckled, and looked at him, resting my elbow on my knee and resting my head on my hand. Kakashi had saved me yet again. What was it with him? He always happened to be there when I was in trouble... I was probably being tracked by the Hokage. I don't blame him, the poor guy, letting one of his worst enemies, not to mention a Jinchuuriki, into his village, "Right, let's get going with the assessment." Kakashi continued. He was holding a small data sheet with tables and such.

"Remind me why I'm actually doing this? Why do you people need to know about me?" I questioned. Kakashi started to scribble down on the paper. I glanced down, and managed to read it upside down. I glared at Kakashi,

"I don't have trust issues!"

"Ah, but you read what I was writing upside down. See what I mean? You don't trust people." He gave a closed eyed smile, and continued. I shook my head, sighing, "Moving on. Name?" He asked.

"Oh come on, Kakashi-sensei!" I groaned. I just wanted to get this over and done with. Kakashi continued to scribble down on his paper. I read what he had wrote, just to make sure it was decent. To my surprise, he'd written a medium sized list under the 'traits' section. His writing was messy, but I managed to grab a few words before he continued. Underneath where he had written 'trust issues', there was 'impatient', 'slightly bi-polar' and 'stubborn'. I snorted my disbelief. Kakashi looked up,

"Problem?" He asked,

"Not at all." I replied, smirking.

"Fine. Now, name, please?" He asked, rather more stern than before.

"Aiko Tora." I sighed.

"Age?"

"Thirteen, duh."

"Kekkai Genkai?"

"The Tora clan, and the Kaguya clan."

"Very impressive. Care to do a demo?" He nodded. I shrugged,

"Sure, but I haven't exactly stabilised my Shield of Splinters." I moved to a part of the yard that was unoccupied by Tanno and his little, bratty sister. I glanced around, looking for something as a target to use my clan Kekkai Genkai on. I noticed Kakashi's mask; hey, why not? I was about to release my chakra when I realised that I would probably be invading his personal space if I did that... Wouldn't be the most polite things of all. Leaning against the barn door was a rake. I forced my chakra into it, feelings its cold, metal interior. I closed my eyes, and imagined it floating over and raking up the hay near the other end of the yard. And sure enough, when I opened my eyes, it was there, shrouded in a cloak of silver chakra. I looked over to Kakashi, who was staring intently at the chakra,

"Fascinating... Silver chakra...that would be the Matatabi's, right?" He muttered. I nodded, unaware that he knew so much about me. He nodded and began to scribble again, "And the Kaguya clan one? Shield of Splinters, was it?" He asked. I nodded, and began to manipulate my chakra flows into all of my bones. A tingling feeling ran through my whole body as tiny, hair-like razor sharp bones pierced my skin and clothes, finding their way through the stretchy fabric rather than tearing it. Soon, I had a pale shield of bones all over my body. Kakashi's eye widened slightly for a split second, "So how much damage can you take?"

"Well, it only requires a lot of chakra to start, but then it withholds, without the need of chakra. It's pretty much an impenetrable shield, but it has its weaknesses..." I stopped talking, eager to keep the weaknesses as a secret. Kakashi raised and eyebrow,

"I assume you don't want me to know that? See, Aiko? Trust issues." He sighed, but all the same he moved on. I thanked him mentally, and returned to my perch on the fence. Suddenly, a warm fuzzy feeling erupted from my heart. Yujin! I desperately
glanced around for her... It was weird not having her around, and I felt slightly exposed. I spotted a blue bullet ricochet out of the horses' barn, and come flying over to where Kakashi and I were sitting. Yujin mewled happily as she saw me, and I leapt off the fence to grab her.

"Heya, Yujin! Where were ya, I missed you!" I muttered to her, pressing my nose against her small one. She merely purred happily and leapt onto my shoulder. I smiled, feeling her comforting weight and warmth finally. I heard a chuckle, and turned to Kakashi,

"Attached much, Tora?" Kakashi chuckled, "But all jokes aside, she is stunning. Is it true she's a separate entity of the Matatabi?" He continued.

"Yeah... She's my little ray of sunshine, couldn't possibly imagine life without my little Yujin." I smiled softly, and gently scratched her blue ears. I felt Kakashi smile, and I leapt back onto the fence. Kakashi automatically reached for Yujin, who happily obliged to his relaxing ministrations.

"Right! No time to get distracted now, we have a lot to get through. Ok, what's your birthday?" He continued, removing his hand, rather reluctantly from Yujin. I groaned, and tugged mournfully at a stray piece of hair,

"21st of June." I mumbled. This was going to take a very long time...
