Love you all my little dumplings and Sashippers,

Kurayami sat next to me at the back of the classroom, muttering under her breath. Iruka, after she had poked him in the head, said that she had to stay after school and clean all the blackboards in the academy. She was mumbling to herself, cursing at him for 'being so unfair' and that 'it was just a joke'. I felt strangely satisfied at this turn of events. The lessons continued, each one as boring as the one before. Of course, Uchiha boy was right up there with all the answers, each one developed perfectly. I was quite impressed; he would make a half-decent teammate if he wasn't as stuck up as his hairdo... Throughout  the day, Kurayami emitted several steely comments about Iruka, much to my annoyance. By lunch time, I couldn't take it anymore,

"Would you just SHUT UP?!" I groaned. Kurayami stared at me for a moment, stunned that I had actually said anything. Her hazel eyes widened for a second, before she slumped back into her chair, and stuck out her bottom lip, blowing her green bangs out of her face. I breathed out slowly, relieved that she had stopped complaining. I mean, I wonder what she thinks a hard time is; finding what to wear in the morning? Choosing what colour to dye her hair next? Pfft...

The lunch bell rang, and immediately the whole class erupted into speech, baffling poor Iruka sensei. I waited for everyone to filter out the classroom, before sighing and grabbing my bento box. Kurayami was waiting for me at the door, but I gestured for her to go on ahead. Iruka sat down with a bump, and slumped over in his chair, rubbing his eyes,

"Agh, damnit! What did I do wrong...?" He cursed to himself. I chuckled quietly,

"Nothing, Sensei. Nothing at all. Children will be children." I grinned as I folded my neat notes into a paper aeroplane, and lobbed it toward Iruka. It bounced off his spiky hair and onto the desk in front of him. He glared at it for a second, before smiling softly at me, and scratching the back of his head,

"I suppose you're right..." He said wearily. I skipped out the room, just before he said something else, "Oh, and Aiko? The Hokage has assigned you a Sensei for today, to take a small assessment for the Leaf Village's records, and to make sure you're up to date with everything. Your Sensei will meet you next to the fields by the horse stables tonight, and your Sensei will be...", Before Iruka could say anything else, a black-haired ninja appeared in the doorway.

"Iruka! Naruto's gone and painted on the Hokage's faces! He's on the run; we need you to calm him down!", He rasped, clearly out of breath. Iruka cursed again and ran out the room, calling back a quick apology to me. I shrugged, and walked out the room. It would have to wait... I did wonder who it was, though. Kurayami was waiting outside, looking impatient, along with Ino.

"Come on, Aiko, let's go eat!" Ino shrieked, and grabbed our free hands. I allowed myself to be dragged outside to join the others in the great wide world.

All of the older students were there too. I looked around for Neji, but didn't see him. I saw Uchiha, though. He was sitting under a solitary tree, reading a book. His eyebrows were stitched together, furrowed in extreme concentration. He bit his lower lip, his dark eyes intently studying the creased pages. I noticed Ino next to me, practically drooling over him,

"Oh, he's so cute! Sasuke's so clever, too, and handsome, and brave, and - OOOOHHHHH!", Ino squealed, fanning her eyes with her pale hands. Stupid Sashippers. I ignored Ino, and Kurayami too. She was staring at Uchiha, but in a different way. A softer way, with a sparkle and a glimmer in her inquisitive eyes. Her lips were parted slightly, and she stood still. I chuckled. Love-sick young girls... Shaking my head, I wandered over to a small bench and proceeded to sit and eat my lunch; a pot of ramen and an apple. Yujin had now come to curl up on my lap, and I fed her a bit of chicken. She lapped it off my fingers happily. Ino sat next to me, and Kurayami on the other side.  She then began to talk... And that was when I zoned out. Why would I listen to stuff that didn't benefit me in any way, shape or form? I looked around, finding a scene I could latch onto, and focus my mind. That was the first step to meditation. But everything was moving so fast, I couldn't find a single scene in the bright garden. I had to do it. I looked to the Uchiha boy. There he was, sitting under the tree, one leg extended and the other one tucked under the book. Muscular legs... His dark blue bangs fell about his chiselled face, framing it. His eyes were like chasms, drawing me in, the dreadful black hole... His perfect, straight nose...And then he looked up. Right at me. Our eyes locked, and I felt an odd sort of electricity flood through my body. I looked away, my cheeks burning in the sun. He just cocked his head, stared at me for a moment, and then went back to his book. Ino and Kurayami didn't notice; they were too busy fangirling over the new 'Make-Out' series, whatever the hell that was. Sounded creepy. I tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ears, and tried to look anywhere but at Uchiha. My cheeks felt like they were on fire, as though sparks of electricity were flying through my blood. Quickly, I spotted a water fountain.

"Heya, Kurayami? I'm just going to go get some water from the fountain. I'll be back in a sec." I said quickly, before slipping off across the gravel and toward the fountain. Bending low, I collected the water in my hands, forcing chakra through it to make sure it didn't slip out. I washed my red cheeks with it, and quickly lowered my mask to take a much needed drink. A loud barking noise startled me, and I turned to see Kiba. I grabbed my mask and wrenched it up. Akamaru was bounding toward me, and leapt up to my knees, lapping at my hands. Yujin, despite being a dog's worst nightmare, merely stared down her nose at Akamaru. I automatically reached down and fondled his dark ears.

"I needed some cool water; your hot sense of style burnt my eyes!" Kiba chuckled. I groaned at his failed attempts at flirtation, and turned to leave. Akamaru leapt in front of me, and whined loudly. Rolling my eyes, I shoved him out the way, flicking my hair in Kiba's face. I heard him whistle as I headed toward Kurayami and Ino. I turned to glance over my shoulder, but Uchiha wasn't looking. Of course he wasn't, who was I kidding? Sitting down on the bench, I was about to resume conversation when Iruka appeared once more. But this time, he was holding a struggling Naruto by the scruff of his neck, and shouting in his red face.

What had Naruto done this time?
