It was a cold winter month. Although the weather was harsh, the scenery was beautiful. Ice covered the lakes, trees were dusted with snow and the flowers were all frost bitten. Feli sighed as he looked out the window, the fire that was lit in the room illuminating his eyes which were a hazel Brown. That's what Ludwig loved the most about him, and his smile, and not forgetting his outgoing personality, though he did seem to be quite bothered by his lazyness at times, but that didn't matter to him, he loved Feli for who he is, and Feli loved him for who he was.

Both of them sat in the firelit living room, enjoying their comfort. Feli was Sat near the window, looking at the scenery whilst humming a little tune, whilst Ludwig was reading a novel in front on the fire, sitting crossed legged on the sofa. Feli sneezed quietly, but becuase of the room being so quiet it could be heard very clearly by his lover.

"Feli, you could catch a cold sitting too close to the window..." He said with concern, Feli smiled, still looking out of the foggy window.

"I know, but..." He paused for a second still looking out of the window, he turned and looked at Ludwig smiling.

"Isnt the view just beautiful from here?" He closed his eyes, still giving that wide smile to Ludwig. Ludwig smiled back at him, he then stood up and went into the kitchen. Returning minutes later, he had a cup of a hot beverage in each hand. Walking over to Feli he placed one on the window sill, steam rising from the cup and fogging up the window even more.

"I made you this to warm you up" Ludwig said, looking down at Feli who was still looking out of the window, his nose and cheeks were a rosy red. Feli looked up with a smile, thanking him. Ludwig then Sat down to read his book and drink his warm drink. Just as he sat down he saw that Feli had reached for his drink and began to sip at it, making sure to blow on it to cool it down.

In a matter of seconds, the drink was spilled on the floor and Feli laid faint in his chair. Ludwig hurried up and immediately went over to Feli. His breathing was heavy and when Ludwig checked his temperature, he was boiling hot.

"It must be a fever" Ludwig said, worry in his voice. He quickly picked up Feli and ran to the bedroom, he then placed Feli on the bed and ran to get a cloth and cold water. After rinising the cloth he placed it softly on Feli's head. After a few moments of nurturing him, his breathing went back to normal and his temperature had lessened. Ludwig spent the rest of his night watching over him and making sure his love was going to be okay.

The next morning Feli woke up dazed by what happened. As his eyes were blurred all he could see was the ceiling and the corner of the bedside table, which seemed to have something brightly coloured. Feli Sat up and saw that they were beautiful flowers. He looked closely at them and realised there was a note gently balanced between two flowers, it read;

Hope you are feeling better, I went to the pharmacy to get some medicine and other things. Before that I went to the store to buy some soup when I saw these beautiful flowers for you, hopefully they will bring back a smile on your face.

With love,

Ludwig. XXX
