A month has passed since Feli had fallen ill, and unfortuantly has gotten worse. Because of this, Ludwig decided to bring in a doctor. Ludwig brought the doctor to Feli's room and then took a seat outside patiently, slowly waiting for the results.

An hour later, the doctor opened the door, showing a doleful expression on his face, Ludwig froze, and a cold sweat was pouring down his face, as he feared what the doctor was about to say.

"With a heavy heart, I'm afraid to say that... Mr.Vargas has a very rare illness, which unfortuatly doesn't have a cure..."

Ludwig had a mix of emotions, unsure what to feel and what to say, he sat their unsure of whether to cry or to be angry, 'Why Feli?' Was all that repeated inside his mind. Ludwig placed his face into the Palm of his hands. The doctor stood their waiting for a reply, until he broke the silence.

"However...."

Ludwig looked up, seeing a glimpse of hope.

"It doesn't mean there won't be a cure, yet. I'd say that one should be found within a few months, however such research would cost a vast amount of money..."

Ludwig suddenly stood up, surprising the doctor slightly.

"I'll pay any amount of money, as long as it will save Feli!"

The doctor nodded, going into his brief case to pull out a slip, which he then wrote on and handed it to him, the price of paper turned out to be a cheque for 10,000 euros. Ludwigs eyes widened at the large amount, in which he would have to pay alone. Alone, as he wouldn't dare tell Feli the price, as he knew Feli would refuse it. Ludwig looked at the doctor, who was offering a pen, he swiftly took it and began to sign it, using the table in the long hallway.

"Are you sure you want to pay this, it is a large amount, I apologise."

"Just make sure they find a cure." Ludwig said firmly to the doctor, whilst handing the cheque back. The doctor took it, and placed it back in his brief case. And with that Ludwig showed the doctor out of the house, not before he thanked him and said goodbye.

'Dont worry Feli, I'll make sure they get that cure, and make sure that you will get better, no matter what.'

3 months later...

Ludwig was seated in a bar, monotoned music played in the background and dull autumn colours glowed the room because of the neon lights that were hung behind the bar. He asked for another double of scotch, and soon drank it. He placed the glass near dozens of others, and quickly asked for another. The barman looked at him in concern, unsure whether to obey his command, but because of his reputation recently, he quickly poured another to keep him quiet.

Ludwig was a mess. His face unshaven and his breath with the scent of cigarettes and alchohol. he was indeed depressed and in dept. The doctor scammed him, or so he thinks that. Once he was bored of blaming the doctor however, it soon turned out to be Feli's fault instead, in Ludwig's opinion, anyway. Ludwig turned to the bartender, who was in the middle of wiping the bar counter.

"You know what..." Ludwig said sloppely, his head looking at the ceiling fan, which was spinning.

"This is all that bastards fault!" He exclaimed, by then the barman had finished and began to listen to the drunk man who has only been a regular since a month ago.

"All he wants is my attention, "Ludwig help me!" "Waaa I don't know how to do this!"." He said, mocking the Italian's accent. The bartender shook his head, knowing that he only was saying such things because of the scotch. Just then, a tall, blonde woman walked up to the bar. Ludwig turned his head, and eyed her up and down, admiring her beauty and the sweet addictive perfume she wore. He smiled at her and greeted her with one of his not so many pick up lines, not knowing he would soon regret his actions, he didn't care at the time however, just as he didn't care about Feli's feelings either.
