I changed into a nice tunic and trousers that were just black and white with a gold trim. I was apparently going to meet the troupes and decide if I would become the General or not. I don't know if I should trust Gideon or not yet, there's something odd about him...Probably the fact he has his own entourage of magicians, all dressed in black if I might add. That doesn't sit well with me. He tried to assure me it was for religious purposes and not to do with dark magic. "Lady Celeste! The Prince is waiting." Calem shouted from outside. "I'll be done in a minute!" I replied as I put on my sword and scabbard. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and sighed opening the door. "Let's go." I said walking past Calem in the direction we came. "Uhm Lady Celeste?" He asked following me. "What?" I asked without looking back, "The training yard is that way." He said simply. I stopped midstride my face and neck heating up. "Oh. Then let's go THAT way!" I said turning on my heel and putting my face down as he just laughed at me. As we got closer to what I was guessing our destination I heard the clash of metal and grunts. I smiled at the familiarity of the sounds and walked faster. I opened the door revealing knights in training with moch duels and wooden dummies along with squires running erronds for their 'master'. Just like the one at home...but bigger. I looked towards a rather large group of boys my age and younger observing a fight. Then I realized Prince Gideon was one of the duelists. This could be interesting. The other man dueling struck first doing a straight forward lunge. Gideon side stepped completely doding the attack, mistake number one. Almost imediately the other man turned on his heel sending his sword in an arc from behind. Gideon realized this and turned putting his sword up to block but the sudden turn had made him imbalanced. The other man smirked and pushed knocking him to the ground. "Sir Jaret is the winner." Another man said as my eyes narrowed at the other guy. My eyes narrowed when I realized something. I ran over drawing my sword from its scabbard. The man wasn't ending the duel there, he wasn't satisfied. Even from farther away I could feel the intent of murder. Only a second later others realized what exactaly was happening. The man smirked again as Gideon looked up surprised. The man held his sword and plunged it downward-only to be deflected by me as I dove using the flat of my blade to stop his blade. If I had missed above his target by even a little bit he would've hit his target. "What the-" the man growled as I swept my feet under his feet still on the ground causing him to fall back. I quickly jumped up aiming my own blade at his neck. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." I said calmly. "Why you-" the man said beggining to sit up. i cut him off by putting my foot to his chest, hard as his head hit the ground hard causing him to groan in pain. "Thank you Lady Celeste. You saved my life! Now I know, I MUST have you as a general....would you consider it?" Gideon asked curiously. I looked at him for a second, something odd was about the look in his eyes. "Don't know..." I said trailing off. "You have to! You will be able to leave any time you want! I promise. In fact, I swear on my father's throne." He said crossing his heart. "Ok..." I said trusting him. Big mistake...
