Jessica's POV *still flashback
"Mrs. Ross? Hi I'm Harry, nice to meet you." He offered his hand out to shake my mum's. Her smile re-appeared on her face as she stood up and engulfed him in a monstrous hug. He shook Court's hand but I was still shocked he was here. He sat down next to me and put a hand on my knee. I wasn't going to tell my mom we broke up, or that we- whatever we did since he was right here, and since she almost flipped a shit. We continued our normal conversation, talked about me, harry, courtney and my mom. We ordered our dishes, I kept eating my salad while Harry would keep offering me bites of his steak. Did he completely forget what happened a few hours back? I sucked it up and pretended to be cute with the man I loved. Once we were done eating, it was evening- about 6 o'clock. The day went by so fast, and our 'lunch' took forever to make. When Harry ordered dessert for all of us, he ordered me my favorite fortune cookie- it was a freshly baked cookie-cake kind of a thing with chocolate and ice cream on the outside. They made it in such a way that you could break it in half, read your fortune, then eat. Once we got our desserts, I cracked my cookie to see the fortune read as follows: Jessica Lynn Ross, will you marry me?There was a beautiful diamond ring inside the cookie and I turned to Harry, shocked but see him kneeling on the floor, standing on one foot. "Jessica Lynn Ross, will you marry me?" Uhhhhhhh...
