Jessica’s POV
I felt so awkward when Harry leaned in for a kiss. I know things won’t be the same anymore, nothing’s normal right now, and I- I don’t know I pulled away. But I realized, we’re in public, I can’t be the girl who doesn’t kiss her fiancé in front of people. They’ll think something’s wrong and spread new rumors and stories about Harry. That’s why I grabbed his face and kissed him. I shouldn’t have to act like I’m okay, cause in actuality, I’m not. But I’m trying to make this acting into real life. I love Harry and I want to kiss him, but knowing those lips were on someone else’s while we’re together is nerve wrecking. When we found parking, he opened my door for me and we went in, hand in hand. There was a huge line so we had time to think about what we wanted. While I was deciding, I felt a tap on my shoulder, and turned to see 3 16 year olds “Are you Jessica, Jessica Ross?” I nodded and smiled while their eyes popped open. They asked for a picture, and that’s when I realized they probably didn’t notice Harry next to me. He had his back to us, since we were behind him, and he was reading the menu above. “You don’t want a picture with me, I’m not famous but he is.” I poked Harry, catching him off guard “Hmm? Oh hi” The girls contained their excitement pretty well, and asked for a picture. I took it, and then they didn’t talk to us again, which I respected. When we got to the cashier, Harry asked “Can I get scrambled eggs with toast, a side of bacon and orange juice?” She nodded then looked to me “May I have blueberry pancakes with bacon as well, and a coffee? Cream, 1 sugar?” She nodded as she was about to print our bill, but I stopped her “Excuse me, it’s separate bills.” “Oh sorry, one second” Harry looked down at me, confused as hell. He was about to say something but I hit his arm. I paid for my food and he paid for his. Our order was at one table, so we got a number- 143. Heh, ain’t that ironic.
