The constellations in the sky
Paint what looks to be your name,
As I sit here crying and holding my knees to my chest.
Yes, I still remember,
The way you spoke my name,
It rolled off your tongue and straight into my heart.
You left me, but why?
Was I not good enough to live in your little lie?
You tore me down,
Made me break,
Made me drown.
I can't say I hate you,
Even if I wanted to.
Once a first love,
Always a first love.
So yes,
I still love you,
But not like you'd want me to.
I love you,
But only because you brought me to him.
The man who cherishes me for who I am,
Not who he wants me to be.
He doesn't just say he loves me,
He shows it in everything he does for me.
The constellations in the sky not only paint his name,
But his face.
You're a first love,
He's a forever love.
(The song above makes me feel so much. Its so relatable)
