Here are a few interviews to find out other peoples opinions! :)
Interview with JackieAnn
What is your number one pet hate?
My number one pet hate would be people who use the word "like" incorrectly. For example, if you say something similar to "He's like so hot," I'll probably lecture you until you stop. Sometimes, people don't understand why I don't act like a normal teenager and use the word "like" incorrectly. I don't know why people tend to stereotype teenagers as "punks who have bad grammar."
What do you mostly rant about?
I mostly rant about school, more specifically, about teachers, bullies and "friends". However, I also rant about Wattpad, YouTube etc.
Why?
Usually, when I read rant books on Wattpad, people usually rant about the Internet. I wanted to do something different.
I know that school is something that all of us have probably ranted about at least once in our life.
For example, mostly all of us have been bullied before and we've probably ranted about bullying to someone. However, people don't really rant about that on Wattpad.
My rants usually have an underlying message. Let's say I'm doing a rant on bullying, I will try to convince people that bullying is not acceptable and that it's a really mean thing to do to another person. Usually, I pair up these rants with humor to not bore the people whom read my book.
What do you hear other people ranting about?
On Wattpad, most people rant about Wattpad. For example, they'll rant about "following", server upgrades etc.
However, in real life, most of my friends rant about school. I wrote "Rants, lovely rants" as I knew that many people could relate to it and it's not a common cliché rant book.
What is the funniest rant you have heard?
The funniest rant I have ever heard is probably my friend ranting on Math (sadly, it's not on Wattpad.) From her, I learnt that humor and a topic that one can relate to will make a rant tolerable.
Thank you! :D
