worms sate in crawling;
makes them shuddersome, and me,
aloof, mindful, bright
i thought i saw a worm on the edge of the bath, but it was a thin flying insect with tucked-in wings and immediately my revulsion changed to no concern at all; i wondered why this was, as the swing in my reaction really took me by surprise.
i thought it also held a little life lesson.
