Day 10
4 days in the hotel ( last night )Adeline's POV
FLASHBACK
"I'm not drinking tonight actually" Harry passes the wine back to me.
" More for me" I pour more and smile at his slight laugh.FLASHBACK END
All I know is that I was wasted. Seriously, what did I say last night?
It could of been about the company, it could of been about my plans. I remember Harry having to go home early because of his sister and the baby, Randy, a baby boy.
He said that he was staying up in the mountains for a couple more weeks until he finally got to head home to his apartment in the city.
You know what, I'm not going to worry about it because if I told him anything seriously horrendous, he wouldn't of texted me that last night was fun this morning.
He would if asked so many questions that I for sure would of remembered.
I mean, even if he knew, what would happen. He's not apart of the company, the worst he could do is rat me out to the police for being apart of drug dealing, and no cop cars have even driven up our street since I got here.
I'm just going to forget about what I could of said for now.
Besides, I need to focus on packing to take my trip to where Shay is staying. I saved the address and already have my book bags ready.
I finished off most of the food that would be a pain to carry around before I got to the hotel. I always should have a plan for encountering any unwanted company, A.K.A Will.
The people will for sure if checked that lobby area and the block millions of times, thinking we wouldn't be able to get far off away for the city.
I remember telling Harry that I was leaving the motel room today and he asking why.
I'm pretty sure I told him that I was meeting my friend at a hotel in the city and then he offered to drive me. Luckily, my far past tipsy self was smart enough to decline his generous offer.
I check my phone again for any clues of the night before but only end up wasting 10 minutes on my phone. I start packing up the little bit of clothing I have collected along the way. I figured a cab ride into the city would be best since if I go on foot I could be a in perfect view of you know who. I cannot wait till this is over.
I send Harry's phone a text saying how much fun I had last night and that I can't wait to see him again. After hitting send, I through the packed up bag by the door and start looking through my food stash for a snack. Settling on potato chips, I decide to walk around the motel to get some air, lower my stress. I walk down to the lobby area and find a spot to lean against the wall.
I would kill for a cig right about now. Actually, I'm surprised I made it this far and haven't craved a smoke.
I go to the front desk to talk to the only friend I've had while at the motel. He works at the motel, always wears black. To be honest, if I wasn't in the situation I'm in, I'd hit on him, but I honestly want nothing to do with this experience, well, except for Harry and I guess Logan. Those two I can handle.
"Got a cig on you?" I rest my elbows on the counter. " I got you Adaline" he places a pack and a lighter in my hand." Meet you outside" he leaves his station behind the front desk to join me. I walk to my newly found spot and light up, lighting up Dillion's also.
"Is today your last night?" He asks taking a drag." Yea. I'll be out of your gorgeous hair around 12" I smirk. " you've always had a thing for me hair " he smirks back.
Dillion was tall, had dark perfectly cut hair that he styled with gel which I made fun of, dark blue eyes, clear skin, always wearing black, and etc. He's not necessarily my type but he's one hot pepper, WOAHH Papi!
"Gonna miss me?" I blow smoke in his face. " of course gorgeous" he coughs. " where are you heading to now?" He asks me." Well, honestly, I don't know. After this, it's either going to be all okay or crash in burn in a huge failure...or I'll like get hit be a bus with my luck." I smile." To hopefully not getting hit by buses" he raises his cig, making a "toast". " amen" I sigh and raise mine as well.
