Chapter 12: The big picture

  I woke up with chandlers hand under my shirt and stretch across my waist. I moved it without waking him. I walked downstairs and started in breakfast. I cracked and egg in the pan and watched it sizzle. I felt arms twisting around my stomach. He kissed my neck.
"Good morning." He said.
"Good morning." I say back. We were about to kiss when my phone rang. He sighed.
"Hello?"
"Rachel I may have a solution for you."

  I walked into Scott's office and sat down.
"What's the possible solution?" I ask.
"What's best for the show and what's best for you is either you break off all relations with co-workers."
"Or."
"You get fired."
"That's your solution?!" I snapped.
"Rachel I don't want to do this at all. I love you sweetie, you are like a daughter to me but your actions rub off on your career."
"Scott he means everything to me."
"I know, but you have to see the big picture."
"Scott."
"I need an answer by tonight."
"This is asking a lot."
"Figure it out."

I walked inside.
"What did he say." My eyes were red and swollen.
"Rach?"
"Get out." I said softly.
"What?"
"You have to get out."
"Rachel-"
"Get out chandler." He slammed the door.
"Rachel what's up."
"I need you, May."
"On my way over." I hung up the phone and sat on the couch. I pulled my knees to my chest and cried.

"Rachel?" Maylon opened the door. I held my arms out and she ran into them.
"Tell me everything."
"I love him so much."
"Then be with him, it's not that hard."
"Scott says I get Fred or I leave him."
"Scott what?!"
"And I'm-"
"Scott Gimple does not have authority over our life, Rachel."
"May!" I yelled.
"What?"
"I'm pregnant."
"Rachel."
"Rachel no."
"Yes."
"How far?"
"I don't know."
"Baby you need to find out, their life is in your hands."
"I don't want to give up my career."
"I know."
"Why would someone make me choose between my career or the love of my life?"
"I know it's not fair."
"I just want this to be over." I say.
"I know. I know." She held me.

I walked back into work with a smile on my face. I wasn't going to let that bring me down. Even though it probably should have.
"You ok." Danai walked with me.
"For now."
"See you on set." I got ready and walked out.
"Can I have everyone's attention?" Greg asked. We stopped talking. A lady handed me Clara, one of the many girls who play Judith.
"What's coming up?!" Get asked. We cheered.
"Season 6!!!" We say.
"Yeah!" He says.
"We have a company cruise coming up and i want this to be vacation no work."
"I'm good with that." Steven says. We laugh.
"Let's start filming!" He says. We slightly cheer.
"More enthusiasm!" Scott says.
"In Alexandria it's not all that great." Michael says. We all laugh.
"Rolling in 10.." The camera man counts down.

  We filmed some good flashbacks and footage. I sat on Colton's bed.
"May said you were upset today." He says.
"She told mom and dad?"
"No just me."
"Ugh, good."
"So what's the drama?"
"Scott made me make a tough choice."
"Which was?"
"Get fired or stop chandler and I relationship."
"Damn that rough."
"Yeah."
"So you kicked him out?"
"Yeah."
"Rachel I'm sorry."
"Sometimes you love someone but your not met to be."
"But your having his child!"
"Shut up."
"I'm sorry. So like did you see a doctor yet?"
"No may made a appointment next week."
"Next week?! Rachel their brain is starting to develop!"
"How do you know so much?"
"Took child development last year."
"Wow."
"Yeah, anyway what are you going to do?"
"I honestly have no idea. I think I want to talk a break and go see Amy and Paige."
"Joven would like that."
"Yeah."
"DINNER!" Mom yelled.
"How are you and Taylor?" I asked.
"We applied to the same schools so we will see what happens."
"You going to be an early grad?"
"Hope so, need to get my credits in." We sat at the table. Thomas and Maylon joined us. It was Sunday night dinner.
"Hey baby." Dad kissed my head and rubbed colts hair.
"How was your day Rach?" Dad asked. I hesitated.
"Good."
"What did you film?" Thomas asked.
"Flashbacks."
"With Emily and Tyler?" Mom asked.
"Yeah." I forked though my broccoli.
"Anything else?" May asked.
"Yeah cruise is coming up."
"That will be fun."
"Yeah, I'm excited."
"How long?" Colt asked. We were really close so we didn't like being apart very long.
"Week. It's like before season 6 vacation." I say.
"When is it?" Mom asked.
"September 20-26 Bahamas."
"Take pictures." Dad says.
"Will."
"Rach can you help me in the kitchen?" Maylon asked.
"Yeah." We walked in there.
"When are you goin got tell mom and dad?"
"When i find out the sex."
"Rach this is serious."
"I know may, I'm not a child."
"Fix it." She took a picture of water out and I took a picture of lemonade.
"How's my granbabbies?" Mom asked.
"Good." May rubbed her stomach.
"3 months in." Thomas said.
"Wedding next month." May smiled.
"I'm very happy for you two." I say.
"Good, cause your the maid of honor."
"I might go down and visit amy and Joven." I say.
"What for?" May asked.
"Just need a break from work."
"Can we get together and discuss wedding stuff?" May asked.
"Yeah honey" that was so painful.

  I walked in my house. I set my purse down. Chandler walked downstairs.
"You want to tell me what happen this morning?"
"Not really."
"What the hell Rachel?!"
"I'm not fighting with you chandler! Get out!"
"I see your jobs more important than me." That was the first time I've ever seen him cry. Ever.
