Chapter 1: Leaving Home

Madeline's P.O.V

It's September 21, I was at home studying for my test about Romeo and Juliet, Last week, I did a long essay about them, I got a b+ on it, which it was good because I thought it was a stupid and weak words, I'm not good at my story telling. At that moment I heard my mother coming to my room, I just focused at my work instead, as she open the door, I saw her big smile on her face, I never  saw my mom being that way, then she closed the door and sat with me on my bed, then she began to talk to me,

 "Madeline, how r u this morning?'

" I'm fine, a little tiring but it's fine" I said, I looked at my paper and think something else, I don't get used to being alone with my mother, even when I'm her daughter, it felt like I never talk to like 3 years, and never really understand each other, I always feel that way.

" I want to tell some great news, for u and all in this one big family with love"

" What is it, I'm sure I'll  liked the news"

"Okay then, um , your father and I  decided to have a new town , a new place, a new adventure, so we chosen to go to London, Isn't that great!" she said in happily attitude, she stand up and looked straight and me, I looked at the floor and thinking about my friends , I'll miss them terribly and California is a beautiful town , full with nice people

" that is great news, what about our home, Mom, I was born here, I don't think I want to leave, and what about our school, our friends , our home? I don't know mom" I said and I took a deep breath, I lay down to my bed, I close my eyes

" remember when you were eight, you told me you wanted to go to London, you said it would be your adventure if you went there, even your sister agree, you guys wanted to have adventure, no matter how little you guys were, remember? hmmm"  she looked at me , looking into her brown eyes, my mom had beauty around her, I was sure I didn't have beauty. my mom hugged me tight, and i felt i needed to cry in front of her,  the tight hug she gave me was love and safe.

" oh , my little Madeline, you are growing up so fast, look at you , you  barely turn fifteen, and your sister Chloe is thirteen" she started to leave my room, she grab the knob, and twisted it around and it opened than i said  some words to her, and i hope she wont forget for the rest of her life.

"Mom?" i said feeling the crying again, my throat was hurting for holding it in.

" yes?' she turned around

" i don't want to grow up' I said and i looked at her with honestly in my heart

" Darling, you will always be my little baby" she came toward me and kiss my forehead, then she left my room, a tear came out of my eyes and quickly wipe it off, I put my homework away, I lost my appetite, so I  grab my laptop and check my twitter, a 2 hours later my sister Chloe came to my room .

" Mom said to start packing, here are some boxes, they're at the living room, and she also told tomorrow night, we will be leaving, so that means - " she said and was trailing

" that's means tomorrow is our last day of school, OH WE ARE LEAVING SCHOOL, SIS!" i said holding her shoulder and my eyes were so wide, i knew i was crazy and weird girl,

" ok, but I want to go to London, oh my god, im so excite, and anyway, bye- bye weirdo" she left my room and I was now busy packing my stuff, all of it!  all day, we were packing, we were busy, but we didn't mind.

(The next day)

I woke up the next morning, feeling so tired from packing my things at the middle of the night,  I went to the bathroom  and brush my teeth, i went to my sister's room, i woke her up, and telling her to get dressed, i came back to my room and change my clothes into a uniform. the color was red and dark blue, i did liked the uniform, as you realized I was a tomboy,  i brush my hair, and put them into a ponytail. i got put perfume around my neck and chest, then i came downstairs and i saw my sister sitting on the couch with my mom, Chloe was already ready, she's faster than i am.
