Chapter 10: My Best Friend:)

Asa's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning I went to the bathroom and brush my teeth. when I was done I went  to the kitchen, i saw a note on the kitchen table, it was my mother, she wrote:

me and your brother and your sister, and of course your father, went shopping to get some your brother's stuff for school, then we will go to the musical theater, then we will visit our aunt Rose. so I guess we will be back like a 10pm at night, so make sure be safe and call us if you need help, so you later , love you bye.

                          love Mum

            PS: we left at 9am, just so you know.

so I guess I'm home alone, i had nothing to do, there was nothing to watch on TV, there was nothing to do in my room. nothing! so I decided to come and see Madeline. I came out of my door and went knocked on her door, of course it's so near to mine. I knew this will be easier to come over. then the door opened.

"hi" I said

"hi, welcome" a woman said

"I'm here to see Madeline" I said 

" okay, are you Asa Butterfield?" she asked

"yes, i am"

"oh, right, yeah. Madeline has mentioned you, you know me and your mother are friends?"

"yes I knew, well my mother told me last night so"

"alright, come in, Asa"

I walked in with her, I saw the rooms they were clean and fresh. I took a seat and sat down. i was waiting for her, in meanwhile I was talking to her mother.

"Asa, would you like to eat some food?" she asked

"no, I'm fine thanks" I said

" alright then"

she left the kitchen and went to Madeline's room, then she came back. in few minutes later Madeline came out. she walked towards me.

"hi, Asa, what a surprise" she said and give me a friendly hug

"hi" that's all I can say, I needed to calm down 

"so what brings you here?" she asked, she looked at me

"oh, I wanted to ask you something"

"okay, go ahead"

"do you want to hang out with me all day?"

"yes, of course"

"okay then"

me and Madeline came out and started to hang out and have fun with her mother's permission to let Madeline go with me. I was more excited to be with her. what I hated the most is the butterflies in my stomach, it's been bugging me all week when I hang out with her. anyway, we both went to the theaters, we went to see a scary movie. First we went to buy some popcorn.  as we walked in the big room, we saw the lights almost not shining enough. there were not that many people in the room, it was like 10 people in the room. me and Madeline seat at the middle. then the movie started. the movie was so scary, they were a lot of pop up. a lot of screaming and mostly a lot of panicking. I was scary as hell, I think I chose a very  scary movie. Madeline was not scared. she only jumps when there is a pop up. the movie was still playing, we all listening and watching the screen. I started to close my eyes and bury my head near Madeline's shoulder.

" hey, Asa, are you scared?" she asked

"yes, I don't want look"

"oh, Asa, don't be scared"
