Plot Twist ((Niam))

Chapter 15

"Breakfast is ready!" mum called. I smiled at Liam and nodded at him to let him know that we should eat. In return, he just smiled at me sadly. Oh god. I am such a jerk.

I skipped down the stairs with Liam right behind me to find Greg, Louis, Harry and Zayn already sitting down with the food in front of them and I licked my lips as I realized it was my favorite pancakes with the chocolate syrup and sliced strawberries.

"Smells good Mrs. Horan" Liam said from behind me.

"And it looks good" Harry provided politely.

I took a seat beside Greg and Liam took the seat beside mine. 

"I made your favorites Niall" mum said and I smiled at her.

"Thanks mum" I said. Everybody else looks amused with the food in front of them and I can tell that they can't wait to eat it. At least I know I can't. The smells coming out from the bacon was too good to resist.

Mum sat down and I was about to dig in when the doorbell went off. I smiled at her nervously because I hope it’s who I think it is.

Mum stood up to greet our new guest and I was fidgety and I kept stretching my neck to see who it was. When I heard the loud and familiar voice, I got out of my seat and ran towards the door.

“Sean!”

“Niall!” Sean smiled. He certainly got taller than me but other than that, he barely changed. I enveloped him in a tight hug, causing him to groan in pain and chuckle at the same time. “Okay kiddo, I know you miss me but I am starving and I can small those delicious eggs all the way from here”

I finally let go of Sean and smiled at him. “You barely changed”

“And you did” Sean laughed.

My face fell. “Oh?”

Sean’s eyes widened and he apologized, “I didn’t mean it in a bad way. C’mon look at you! You used to be such a squirt and now my little Niall has turned into a man and I must admit, you’re looking very good”

I rolled my eyes and hit him playfully. Mum watched from the sides.

“Niall, why don’t you actually lead Sean to the table so we can all start breakfast?”

“Okay mum” I smiled. I grabbed Sean’s wrist and pulled him towards the dining table where everyone else is waiting.

“Hey Sean! Long time no see” Greg said and Dad nodded at him.

“Hey Greg, hey bobby” Sean grinned.

Meanwhile, Liam, Louis, Harry and Zayn were looking curiously at the both of us. I blushed when I noticed that my fingers were still round Sean’s wrist and immediately let it go.

“Sean, these are my band mates and best fr—“

“Yes I’m quite aware who they are” Sean chuckled. “Who doesn’t?” he said, causing everyone to smile a little.

“And this is Sean” I finished off. Everybody greeted Sean with a little nod and Sean beamed at all of them.

“So…where do I sit?”  Sean looked around the table. I scanned around for a seat and my eyes landed on Liam. He was staring straight back at me and he nodded before making a move to stand up. But I quickly walked over towards him and pushed him back down on the seat.

“Nonsense. Sean can just sit beside Zayn” I said.

“Are you sure?” Liam asked. He pushed himself up but I pushed him back down.
