Chapter 4: The hospital and the news....

Hey guys so here's chapter 4, ok so the chapters are kinda short, but I hope you like it :D

Chapter 4: Hospital and the news...

Faye's POV:

" Hey Lace! Look who I brought along " I said as I walked into Layla's ward. Jenny following behind me, Jake at the back.

" Jennyyy! " Layla squealed. I covered my ears, damn that girl is loud. They started chitchatting immediately. " Hey girls, I'm going to buy some food k? Be good " I walked out but stopped by Jake," Mind if I tag along? " He asked. " Sure, why not?" We walked silently to the canteen but Jake broke the silence, " Do you know I'm the captain of the football team? " I looked at him before shaking my head. " I didn't know that " he laughed and we continued walking. His laugh is so melodious. His brown hair falls just at his eyes and is messy on his head. I could get lost in those blue eyes, wait what am I talking about? Sigh, I'm not falling for Jake right? It can't be.

~But he's a sweet guy~

Oh shut up brain no one asked for your opinion

That might be a little weird.

" Earth to Faye " Jake's voice broke my thought, " We're here " He smiled at me and we walked in, we bought a Mac and cheese for the girls and Jake and I bought a sandwich each.

On the way back, Jake started talking about random stuff. We laughed and chatted.

" So, You know that the whole school fears you right? Even the football team" he said with amusement in his voice. " I know that, I'm a black belt at martial arts so I guess that's the reason? " he laughed as we reached the room.

-One week later: Last day of school-

Jake's POV:

"Come on Jenny, we gotta go!" I shouted. Jenny came running down and grabbed an apple before jumping into my car, Layla wanted to ride in my car so she was crossing the road. " Hey Jen, Hey Jake!" She greeted, soon the two girls were in a deep conversation with each other. I drove out of the driveway and Faye rode on her bike out too.

She looks so cool when she rides on her bike, it kinda suits her. She was wearing some jeans and a tank top and some blue vans. I reached school and the girls hopped off and walked into school. I locked my car and walked over to where Faye was and wrap my arms around her waist. She turned around and took my arm and almost flipped me when she saw whom I was, her eyes widened and she let go of my arm.

" Rule 1: Never surprise Faye from then back" I said chuckling.

" OMG, I didn't know it was you! I'm so sorry!" She looked worried; " it's fine Faye, come on let's go to class." She placed her helmet on her bike and walked beside me to class.

" I'm gonna go to my friends, see ya later Faye ." I walked over to my friends and they stared at me with awe, I raised my eyebrow at them " what? " Jeremy stammered " Y-you were t-talking to F-Faye. " I shrugged and walk to my class.

-1 minute to summer-

Faye's POV:

"OMG 1 more minute to summer! " some girl shouted.

"SUMMER!" Everyone rushed out of the school. I chuckled and walked out. I hopped walked to my locker to get books that I wanted to study over the summer if I wanted to. I waited for Layla who was taking Jake's car before riding home.

-At home-

"Faye? Are you home? " I walked into the house with Layla beside me. It sounded like my mom.

" MOM! Your home! " Layla squealed. Mom came running out and hugged both of us, " I missed you both so much! "

Finally my mom let go and my father, being the strong man he is , picked us up and twirled us around." We have some good news and bad news, which one do you want to hear first? "

I thought for a sec and glanced at Layla, " Bad news " Layla and I said simultaneously. I high-fived her, great minds think alike.

" Alright then, the bad news is, we have to move to California at the end of the year. " I gasped, what move I don't want to move, I have my senior year next year.

" And... The good news is ... We are moving with the Parkers! " Layla's face lit up at the sound of her best friend's last name. If Jenny is coming means Jake too! Yay!

Wait I have to start to warn the whole school about bullying my baby sis , argh !

Ding-Dong, Ding-Dong!

" I'll get it! " I said as I ran to the door. The door opened to reveal a very happy looking Jake. " Eh hi ... Jake"

He pulled me out and picked me up and spun me around. I pinched him and he let go of me. " What was that for?!" He looked at me with dis-belief. I started laughing, by laughing I meant rolling on the floor. " Y-your face w-was p-priceless! " I said between laughs.

" So what brings you here? " I asked, as I got up and dusted dirt off me. " I can't believe, I'm moving to California! And we're moving with you! That's even better! " He fist pumped the air. I chuckled at him childish excitement.

" Can I ask you something? " he asked as he rubbed the back of his neck. " Sure " he bit his lip and said " Do you want to go out with me tomorrow? " My eyes widened, did Jake just ask me out? The most feared girl in school? " Yea sure "

His face lit up at my reply, his grinned so big, I thought his mouth was going to fall off. He ran to me and hugged me, before whispering, I'll pick you up at 7" He fist pumped the air and ran home. He seriously is cute.

I slept with a smile on my face thinking about the date.

Jake's POV:

" Jake come down here! " my mom shouted. " Cominnggg" I groaned as I walked downstairs.

My father cleared his throat and said " we are moving to California at the end of the year..." Yay! We are moving to California! I can't believe it, I always wanted to live there, woo! Wait that means no more Faye. Dangit, I frowned at that. My father cleared his throat once more " But we are moving with the Saskias.

Hell yeah, moving to California with Faye. Jenny jumped in glee hearing the Saskias name.

I ran out of the house and ring Faye's doorbell. Faye opened the door (looking dang fine if I must add), " eh hi... Jake" I picked her up and twirled her around. She pinched me and it hurt a little so I put her down still smiling like an idiot. " I can't believe I'm moving to California! With you! " I fist pumped the air as the silence was filled with Faye's melodious chuckle.

" Can I ask you something? " I asked rubbing my neck.

" Sure " she replied

I bit my lip, thinking whether I should ask her. Ah what the heck " Do you want to go on a date with me tomorrow?" Her eyes widened as my hands got clammy hoping she would not deny it. " Yea sure "

I could feel a grin forming, I hugged her and whispered, " I'll pick you up at 7 "

I fist pumped the air and ran home, I could still hear her soft chuckle. " MOMM" I called out. " Yea honey?"

" I asked Faye on a date tomorrow!" I shouted. My mom ran out saying " oh my son's growing up! " I went up to my room grinning at where I was going to take her.
