Chapter 3: No one messes with me GOT THAT ?!

Hey guys, here’s chapter 3, I wrote 4 chapters together so their posted faster but the rest will be slower k?

Faye's POV:

" OMG! I can't believe it's been 6 months and summer is next week! " Layla jumped excitedly. I chuckled at her before grabbing my keys and walking out. I wore a military boots with elbow-length sleeves shirt.

-In school-

" Hey Layla! " I turned around to see Jenny running towards us. "Hey Jenny, summer is next week, I can't wait! " They squealed in delight.

" I'm going to my locker, see you after school Layla." I walked into school and was approached by Gina, a girl from the cheerleading squad." So, I heard everyone here fears you, but I don't believe a word they say, I will not stand you being the top of popularity! " She screeched at me. Then she tried to push me against the locker, but due to years of training, I could hold my ground. Fear flashed through her eyes as she realised she could not push me. I folded my arms and raised an eyebrow at her with a dare-to-do-it-again look. I can't stand bullying at all. What's wrong with her I didn't so anything to her at all!

She suddenly ran off to her group of friends who looked at me frightened. I shrugged and walked off.

- End of school -

I was waiting for Layla, to come out but she never came. Then Jenny came out sprinting to me with a worried look. " FAYE, GINA'S BEATING LAYLA! " Anger coursed through my veins as I passed my bag to Jenny who took it and I told her to stay there as I sprinted into school. I barged through the door as I heard something crashed against the locker. I ran towards the locker and saw Gina, about to hit Layla's, I grabbed Gina's hand and with a quick move, I twisted her hand on her back and pressed her against the locker.

" No one! I repeat NO ONE messes with my sister GOT THAT?" I said to Gina, she nodded her head and I let her go, I carried Layla to my bike, she had a cut on her hand and she was  unconscious and her face was pale. I ran to my bike and took my bag from Jenny. I thanked her before speeding to the hospital with Layla. I ran into the hospital and called for help. They went to the surgery room and I waited outside for about 3 hours before a doctor came out.

"Are you her sister? " the doctor asked. " Yes, I am. Is my she ok?" I asked worriedly.

"She's fine, just a few cuts and bruises, what happened?" He questioned. I sighed and explained. " Ok, we may want to keep her here for a week or so to monitor her. "

I nodded and he asked a nurse to let me fill in an information form. I filled it in and went into my sister's ward. I walked in and she looked so peaceful when she was sleeping although her face was really pale. I kissed her forehead and sighed before sitting on a chair beside the bed. She stirred in her sleep and woke up.

"Faye? W-where am I? " She asked worriedly. " You're in the hospital Lace, your staying here for a week, but don't worry. I'll visit you after school everyday k? I'll bring Jenny along too. " She nodded before going to sleep after I bid her goodbye.

-At home-

"Hey mom, Lace is in the hospital cause of some girl, I'm going to report the girl in school tomorrow and Lace is hospitalized for a week. "

I said through the phone. " Lace is in the hospital! Oh my dear baby, is she ok????" My mom said on the verge of crying. " She's fine mom, their just going to monitor her. "

She breathes a sigh of relief and said "Thank God". " Ok so report that girl ok? I have to work on this case today, so I'll talk to you later. Love you Faye." She said. " Love you too mom " I hanged up and did my homework before eating dinner after that I walked to Jenny's house.

I ringed the doorbell and Jake, Jenny's brother who is a junior too, answered the door. " Um, hey Faye, what brings you here? "

Jakes a nice guy, he's a jock but he isn't afraid of me cause I known him since like forever. " Hey, is Jenny home?" He called Jenny and she came running down, he excused himself and walked into the house.

"Hey Jenny, Layla's in the hospital. You wanna visit her after school tomorrow? To keep her company?"

" LAYLA IS IN THE HOSPITAL? " she said loudly. Mrs. P happened to walk pass and overheard Jenny, " Oh dear, what happened?" Jenny explained and Mrs. P said Jenny was allowed to go.

" Mrs. P you wouldn't mind if Jenny took my bike? " Mrs. P smiled and said " I trust you dear, you would never let her fall " she smiled and walked into the kitchen." Bye Jenny she you tomorrow " I waved and walked off but stopped when someone called my name.

"Faye!" I turned around and saw Jake jogging towards me. " Hey sorry about your sister, Gina is a pain in the neck. " I chuckled and said " Thanks. I didn't do anything to her, why is she so against me? " I asked.

" Well, first she envies you, and second, almost the whole football team likes you " he smiled showing him dimples and pearl white teeth.

" I didn't know that, wait aren't you in the football team? "  Suddenly realising what he had said.  He smiled and winked at me before asking, " So wanna hang out sometime? "

" Sure, why not, maybe in the summer." His face lit up and a wave of relief washed over his face. " Cool, I'll like that. See you in school Faye! " I waved and continued walking to my house.

- The next day -

Faye's POV:

" Hey Mrs. Green. I want to report that Layla isn't coming to school for a week, she's hospitalised."

" Oh dear what happened? "She asked typing in something in the computer." She was beaten by Gina yesterday, oh and I would like to report Gina Mark for bullying and causing harm to my sister." Mrs. Green picked up the phone and shortly after the principal came in.

"Faye, you said that Layla is in the hospital because she was beaten by Gina? Do you have proof?" She asked.

I told her Jenny was a witness and she called Jenny in. Jenny confirmed that Gina did best Layla and I showed her the hospital letter of absence.

Mrs. Trina, our principal, told us we could go. Apparently, Gina is being suspended after summer and a months detention.

-After school-

"Hey Faye, my brother wants to follow us to the hospital, and he told me to take his car." She told me when Jake was approaching. " Hey girls, so Faye I'm guessing you would take your bike?" I nodded before getting on. Jake and Jenny got into Jake's Range Rover and we went to the hospital.

Jake's POV:

Something about Faye just makes my day better. She’s just so beautiful. Her long brown hair and her brown eyes makes her look so innocent but she's a black belt at martial arts so she's really strong and fierce. It amazes me that she would so anything for her sister.

I just hope that she likes me, cause I really like her.
