Today is the day that my book will finally be complete.
All the hard work that I have put in will be set and stone.
Im having one last meeting with Deveroux about the book .
"OK Mrs.-"
"Deveroux we've been through this already, please call me April, I'm not old. Far from it." I interrupted.
"Sorry, I forgot. OK April , today is finally the day that the final draft will be reviewed and published"
"Yay."
"Was that a happy yay or a sarcastic one, I never know with you?"
"No Deveroux seriously it's a happy one. After weeks and weeks of revising and reading, I think I finally got it right."
I was genuinely happy. Today is finally going to be the day that the book will be completed... Hopefully.
Deveroux has made me revise my draft about 500 times. She wants me to tell my story, but she also wants me to put the right amount of drama, since we want the book to break barriers.
She took a few minutes to look over the final copy until she finally broke her silence.
"April...."
If I have to revise this one more time.
"Oh god am I gonna ha-"
"No April... its..its... PERFECT."
YES . Thank . God!
"FINALLY!", I said in joy.
"As I was reading this, it was perfect. Not to trashy but also not too hesitant."
"So does this mean we can finally publish this thing?"
"That's EXACTLY what this means. I'm thinking of printing about 50,000 copies."
"Is that a lot ?"
"Not really, but whenever we work with a new author, we start of with 50 thousand copies. If it sells out quick enough, we print more and more. It's just us not wanting to spend money on a book we really don't know that it will do well."
"And when it dosent sell out quick?"
" We don't produce any more copies, and possibly determinate our partnership with the author."
"Oh OK, no pressure", I said sarcastically.
"Oh don't beat yourself up April. We here at Rebel publishing believe in you as an author, and we have faith in your book."
"Thank you Deveroux, I really altruists appreciate that."
After I was told all of this I information, it was good to know that she had faith in my book , and me as an author.
My book has to seek the first 50 thousand copies in order for more to be printed, so I'm definitely nervous, but I'm going to keep my spirits up and only think good thoughts.
"Are you ready for publishing?", Deveroux said to me.
"As ready as I'll ever be."

Soooo, April is not do sure that her book will sell out, do you think it will?
Also, sorry for updating a little late, but I got it before the end of the week so ... for me lol.
