Divas No Longer, Now Women..

As you all know, Wrestlemania 32 took place last night, and it marked the end of an era...

Former WWE Women's Champion and Hall of Famer Lita told us that many greats have paved the way for the Divas Division. They have fought hard as the new era of Divas entered the ring.

They are strong women, and should be recognized as such.

As of yesterday, the women of WWE are no longer viewed as Divas, instead they are viewed as WWE Superstars, and will now be known simply as the Woman's Division.

With change like that, it's only fair that a new title is put in place, right?

The WWE Divas Championship has officially been retired as of yesterday April 3, 2016, exactly a year later since the retirement of AJ Lee. Ironic much?

She would've loved to witness this historic changes since its everything she believed in.

Now, the woman of the E' will be fighting for the brand new WWE Woman's Championship.

Now originally, it was thought that this was the return of the original Women's Championship, just with a new design, but WWE is acknowledging this as a completely new title.

Women's Championship (1956-2010)

It's likely being recognized seperatley due to the title being unified with the Divas Championship at Night of Champions 2010.

WWE.com seperates them as the Women's Championship and WWE Women's Championship.

Honestly, I never expected this day to happen. I have wanted this to happen for years, and it finally has come. It's like I was dreaming when I saw it. It was like it was too good to be true.

The new belt design is similar to the WWE World Heavyweight Title, as it makes the title be on the same level as the men's title, and to be just as prestigious, and I love it.
