***After Homecoming***

Ava and I decided to go for a walk. She had her hand linked with mine. The air was still cold and the wind blew on the back of my kneck.

"How are you?" I asked her.

She was oddly silent. She played with my fingers, and sighed.

"Honestly, not great. My parents just announced that they are getting a divorce."

"I know the feeling, my dad just left us." I told her.

We just kept walking, not talking. It was late. The moon hung high in the sky. The city lights flickered from the bottom of the hill.

We reached the garden, where the flowers looked magical in the moonlight. I picked a rose and handed it to her. She yawned.

"Ouch! There are thorns you dumbass!" She squeeled.

I threw it to the side, rolling my eyes, "Well exuse me for trying to be a nice gentleman."

She punched my arm, "Gentleman my ass."

We both were incredibly tired, and agreed to head home. Asia stopped me, grabbing my arm.

"I really don't want to deal with my family tonight, can we just sleep here?" She asked, motioning to the garden.

I nodded, showing her the shed which we currently were using as a guest house. Inside, it was small. All that could fit was a king sized bed, a dresser, and a bathroom.

We climbed into the bed, Asia nestled into me, facing me. I brushed the hair out of her face. I leaned into her, our lips collided again. This time it was different. As if my lips and her lips needed to touch. We moved with great rhythm.

I wrapped my arms around her, and she moved closer to me. I twisted my fingers in her blonde hair, admiring its softness.

"Nathan..."

I stop now, and kiss her nose, "Don't worry Asia, I won't make you go farther than you want to."

She smiles now, kissing my nose. We continue to kiss, as our bodies push up together. It's like, in this moment everything is so perfect.

***The next morning***

A bright light shines on my face, waking me up. I turn to see Asia laying beside me, but she isn't there. I rubbed my eyes, and run my hands through my hair. As I walk out of the guest house I can see Asia sitting on the edge overlooking the town.

"Morning sleeping beauty." She giggled.

I ran up to her wrapping my arms around her, "Goodmorning."

The sun is not fully in the sky. Asia has weaved braids of flowers through her hair.

That's when my phone began to vibrate. I reached into my pocket.

"Hello?"

"NATHAN? IT'S KELSEY!"

"Kelsey what's wrong did something happen to Jake?"

"Well, yes, but well no, Jake is fine. Well, his health is. Just get to the hospital, NOW!" She screeched at me.

I turned to Asia, "Hey Kelsey wants me at the hospital like now."

She smiled, looking at her feet, "Oh okay, I can um drive myself home."

I reached for her hand, "You can come?"

She nodded.

***At the Hospital***
Asia and I walked into the hospital room, where Kelsey and Jake were waiting. As I walk into the room, Seth and Quenta are already there.

Seth is hungover and he has huge bags under his eyes. He obviously is confused. Quenta, who is ignoring Seth, is sitting in a chair beside Kelsey.

As I walk in, with Asia, Kelsey's eyes light up, "Um, I didn't invite her here. Look, can you just like step out into the hallway?"

Asia turned beat red. She awkardly shuffled her feet towards the door.

"Asia wait, you can stay. Kelsey, this is Asia, she is from my cancer support group."

Kelsey smiles at Asia, before turning and whispering something in Jake's ear. Jake just shrugged.

Kesley began speaking, "Okay so We have some interesting news that i found out this morning. It is definately a life-changer and a topic we would like to discuss you with, our best friends."

Jake rolled his eyes, "Kelsey stop being so formal. Everyone, I knocked her up okay?"

I gasped grabbing my mouth with her hands. Quenta squeeled, staring at Kesley's stomach on disbeleif.

"Yo dude, congrats, you hit one up before me." Seth said, reaching his hand out into a high five.

Jake slapped his hand out of the way, with as much energy as he could muster.

"Look, like Jake so profusively put it, I'm pregnant." Kesley muttered.

Quenta stood up and wrapped her arms around Kesley, "Awe sweetie, you're going to be okay."

Kesley let out a deep breathe, sticking her hands on her stomach. Jake grabbed her hand with his, giving her a reassuring squeeze.

"Well, I have a wife, a kid, and cancer! My life is speeding by, I'm practically 80." Laughed Jake.

Kesley sat down, staring at us all, "I can't keep the baby."

This, was obviously a surprise to Jake. He pushed himself up, with a scowl. He crossed his arms.

"You are not fucking killing our baby." He stated at her.

"JAKE! YOU ARE DYING! I AM A SENIOR IN HIGHSCHOOL! WE CAN'T HAVE A BABY." She screamed at him.

The whole room went silent. It was kind of a given, that no one mentioned the fact that Jake, was indeed dying. Oddly, the only one who seemed un-phased by this comment was Jake.

"Yeah, I'm dying, I know. However, this baby could be the only thing I leave. This baby is the only peice of me that will live on. Please Baby, please." He whined, staring up at her.

Seth growled, "Ah dude come on, you don't even have a father, what makes you think you'd be a good one?"

Jake's face lit red, "Go away Seth, somethings fucking wrong with you."

Asia gripped my arm, she was obviously overwhelmed by all of this that has just been thrown out of their mouths.

"You know what? Fine! I'll keep the baby."
