~Chapter 3~

"Spin the bottle?" I asked suspiciously. "Yeah. Have you not ever played?" Asked the dude that asked me to play. "No I've played its just tha-" I started to say but Ana cut me off. "Oh just sit down tightwad". God, she is my best friend but sometimes I don't know how she talks me into this kind of stuff. I sit down and then Jake comes and sits beside me. "Spin the bottle, huh?" He said. Then he winked at Ana. Okay what is going on... That is all I can think of right now. "Katie, you go first". "Fine." , I mumble. I spin it and it lands on..... JAKE! :o "woah!", I say out loud. Then, I walk away pretending like I'm getting a book.I mean I like Jake but is it the right time.{Footsteps}CRAP! WHO IS THAT? I feel a soft touch on my shoulder. I turn around and Jake is standing behind me. Then softly he whispers in my ear,"follow me". He takes my hand and he brings my behind a bookshelf. He leans in for a kiss and........ I HIT HIM! "I am so sorry", I say through tears. I feel like I'm going to throw up. I really like him but I didn't really want to kiss him. "Why did you hit me? -ouch- I thought you liked me and -god- I wanted to kiss you. I mean -dear lord- we've been dating since last year". I run to a little table and pretend like I'm reading but I can't concentrate. I feel horrible
*later that day*
So after the Jake incident I decided to go and practice a little softball. I mean the only thing that cheers me up is softball. I trow the ball up in the air and hit a pop fly to the outfield. Too bad Ana isn't here to catch them. -beep beep- my phone went off. I walked over to the fence where my bag was and took out my phone the message was from Jake. I went to my text messages from him. When I saw the text I almost fainted
