I woke up on my bed from my scariest nightmare.
Napahawak ako sa pisngi ko, lumuluha na naman pala ako.
Napatingin ako sa pocket watch na nasa tabi ko.
I smile bitterly at it.
"I failed this time, too." I whispered.
Nagsimula nanaman pumatak ang aking mga luha.
This shouldn't be happening!
"Bakit ba hindi ko nanaman siya nailigtas?!"
Napasabunot ako.
"Well, maybe that's destined to happen."
She said.
Napalingon ako sakanya at sinamaan siya ng tingin.
"No. I'll save him this time for sure!"
Buong loob kong sabi.
She only smirked at me then left.
I watched how the end of her blue dress flutter as she walk away.
I stand up and look outside the window.
Tirik na tirik nanaman ang araw.
Another cycle has come.
I pick up and clench on the pocket watch.
"I'll definitely save you, Jiro."
I whispered.
