I decided to add two more chapters now, as I just couldn't stop writing.  Here is chapter three and I will upload chapter four directly after.  Thanks for reading, and remember to vote, comment, fan and like!

I was woken to my two ‘personal bodyguards’, as I called them, lift me up and carry me out of the quiet dark room with their hands around my arms.  I doubted they could’ve been any rougher.  My senses immediately became alert as the atmosphere changed to plenty of men rustling around the large room.  I guessed there was a quick meeting occurring as there were men seated all along the long table.  I recognized almost all of them straight away, as they were some of my interrogators.  Fancy meeting them there.

“Gentleman, I know you love me, but did you have to follow me all the way here just to watch me dig through a dumpster?” I mocked surprise, placing my hand over my heart, but I quickly switched my expression to a knowing smirk.  “Now, I don’t know about you people, but I’m putting my money on that we won’t find your ridiculous scrap of paper that’s gotten me kidnapped, interrogated and sent to a dumpster to mess up my marvelous hair.”  I checked off the trouble I’ve gotten into with my fingers, followed by me flipping my hair to prove just how marvelous it was.

“Anna, nice to see you again,” said a shorter man with blonde hair and brown eyes.  He was the friendliest person I’ve met during this ‘adventure’.  He was only involved with this illegal shenanigan because his step-dad was involved and he got part of the money.  He made that extremely clear when we first met.

“Zach.” I nodded my head in acknowledgment.

“I see you are still the same girl I met two weeks ago,” he said with a smile.  He admitted he liked my attitude before.

“Yup, and I see you are still the same man involved with this funny business,” I replied with a sweet smile.  He chuckled and continued with the discussion, but not before being reprimanded by his father, Robert.

“Relax, Rob,” I said, knowing my nickname for him would annoy him, “we’re just catching up!  Oh and by the way, I don’t think you men realize that once I return home, I know where all your hideouts are located.”  I wasn’t sure whether to continue, but decided to tease them.  I might get something good out of it.  “I know all of your names, your information. . .”  I paused for dramatic effect, “and all your plans.  So just remember that when you drop me on my doorstep.”  I winked and beckoned for my guards to lead the way to my waiting seat.  I received glares from a few of the more intimidating guys (of course they don’t intimidate me, though), but I decided to ignore them and enjoy myself while I could.

I made jokes with my guards to see if they would stifle a chuckle, but it was pretty darn hard.  Basically my random talking didn’t amuse them.

“So why do you guys only wear black?  I mean, doesn’t it make you sad all the time?  Black is a pretty depressing color.  Oh and you, big guy, it’s not your color.  Try a  blue or something.”  I knew they were amused with my constant babbling, but they only showed it in their eyes.  Otherwise they would probably get in some trouble with their boss, who just happened to be Robert.

“No joking with the captive, men,” I once heard him say.  “If you want to have a giggling tea party with her when she’s no longer held under her will, then that’s fine.  However, for now, you will not make contact.  Understood?”

It was time for payback while I still could for him ever thinking I’d have a tea party with men doing illegal things.

“Robert, my man!” I yelled, interrupting the meeting once again.  “Are you sure you want me going through a dumpster?  That could get dangerous for you and your employees.”  I tried to think of an excuse to get out of looking for something that’s probably not there.  “I could find a rat and. . .put it down your shirt. . .or something.  Oh!  I could hit you all in the head with a chair.  Some kid recently broke his school chair in History class-don’t ask how-so they had to throw it away.  I bet it’s still in there.”

“There are going to be eyes on you the whole time, Anna.  We won’t have to worry about getting hit with a chair,” he responded.

“Oh, Rob?  Don’t forget that the note might not still be at some dump.  Maybe the note is demolished by now.”

“Well, we’re not taking any chances, little girl.”

“I’d watch out if I were you, Robert,” I threatened, straining the ‘t’ in his name, “because this little girl is bigger and smarter than she looks.  So keep your eyes peeled.”  And with that, the men at the table and even my guards started laughing hysterically.  Well, if all it took to get some chuckles was some threatens from a ‘little girl’, then these guys have some real laughs ahead of them.
