"So which way to now?" I asked Luke. There wasn't any specific direction, since it seemed we were in an endless field, but
I had reluctantly, but silently agreed with myself several times to continue walking with Lucas whenever he tried to crack a joke about my appearance or personality. I just kept my head held high and kept walking, looking straight ahead of me. The scenery never changed as Luke told me how birds would lay eggs in my hair or how my sarcasm was getting old.
I didn't know what happened to the elderly couple, but Luke had reassured me they were safe. Once his cell phone started working (since we were in the middle of nowhere and had no service) I was going to call them, partially so Lucas didn't call the police first.
"According to my GPS," he began as I groaned. I found out in a very short time that he likes to talk. A lot. "We should be nearing the main part of the park in five minutes."
As he started talking about how his GPS was so "smart", I blanked out, let my feet go on auto, and began to think all I've been through. I had always imagined being kidnapped. Was this how I thought the outcome would be? No. I figured they'd tie me up with duct tape, put me in a sack and ship me off across the world. Then an army of pirates would force me to walk the plank. Out of nowhere, my dad (who plays Peter Pan in my fantasy) would show up and scoop me up in his arms. Then we'd fly away back home with Tinker Bell (my little sister) following close behind. Ha! Yeah, like that actually happened.
I feel as if my whole world has changed. Nothing will ever be the same again. Who knows if I'll ever make it home again, no matter how close I am. What if I-
"Anna, look out!"
(A/N: I would brutually cliff-hang you guys, but I'm going to be nice and let you read on ;D)
"Wha-?" Before I could finish, my foot was caught in a ditch and I was pulled to the ground with the speed of light. Well, that hurt. What did my head just hit.....?
"Ah yoh ohay?" I heard someone say something, but it was muffled, and my head was hurting so badly. I opened my eyes for half a second, but quickly closed them tight when I saw the dots in front of my eyes and my surroundings were spinning.
"Aha, ah yoh ohay?" What language were they speaking?

"Anna? Wake up, please." Was that a sob?
"She's sturring."
"She's waking up?"
"Anna, sweetie!"
"Where the heck am I, you loony toons? You know, I've woken up like three times not knowing where I was." I was a bomb. And some one set me off. Tick...Tick...Tick...
"Anna, calm down." Stupid green eyed boy. . .
"Lucas, do not even try to tell me to calm down. I have dealt with enough of this, and I deserve to-" I paused. I had a come-back prepared. But where was I NOW?
I opened my eyes, and saw I was still in that stupid field. Darn it! But next to me was a strange guy wearing white. At least it wasn't black. Black was so yesterday. . .
"Anna, are you feeling better?"
"A little...what's wrong with me?"
"I'll explain when you're feeling a little better...."
"No! Tell me now-"
"Perhaps," he interrupted, "we can take a walk when you can carry your own weight."
Lucas snickered. "Do you want to keep your head?" I threatened.
He nodded his head slowly and unsurely.
"Then I would smirk on your own time in your own privacy."
