"So this is Lothering?" a brittle voice spoke up from behind Morrigan, Eloriel, and Tamlasan, the new addition to the team.
"Why is this mutt following us again?" Morrgian asked loudly to Eloriel. In response, the elf bent down to Tamlasan.
"Tamlasan is not a mutt! He's a mabari! A warhound! And he was able to escape Ostagar and had nowhere else to turn, so of course we adopted him! And what about you? Your mother made you go with us."
"I am not talking about that one."
"Hey! You know he's in pain," Eloriel whispered fiercely at Morrigan.
"Oh really? I am quite sure his wound has healed."
"Morrigan, what do you have against Alistair?"
"He is an unfit Warden," she practically shouted.
Alistair mumbled in reply. All Eloriel could make out was 'if only' and 'protected'.
"Hey Alistair," Eloriel said, giving him a one armed hug as if he were a child. "Don't worry about Morrigan, her bulling is just her way of showing she cares-"
'You do not know that, elf," Morrigan interrupted.
Eloriel glare at the witch before turning back to Alistair. "Are you feeling better?"
More mumbling.
Can't he just answer?
"Are you trying to get her pity, Warden?" Morrigan questioned Alistair, folding her arms.
"Oh knock it off, Morrigan," Eloriel sighed, rolling her baby blue eyes. "He's not."
Morrigan arched an eyebrow but just walked off.
"I read the treaties, Alistair," Eloriel said, her voice cheerier to make the mood brighter. "But it was dreadfully boring."
Silence.
"I leave you alone then," she then nodded to her new companion. "Come on, Tamlasan." The mabari barked joyfully in response.

"Run back to your master," Eloriel spat at the two remaining men venomously. "Tell him that he'll have to do better than this." She then pretended to lung at them, scaring them off like rats. "Damn Loghain, what on Thedas does he think he's doing?" She pounded her first on the table. "It wasn't the Grey Wardens who abandoned the king!"
What is his game?
"Um, excuse me," a teenager said, tapping Eloriel' shoulder. Eloriel looked over at the girl who had her light chestnut hair put up into two low ponytails. "Why did kill those people?"
Eloriel shifted around to meet her light grey eyes. "They were going to hurt others. I had no choice."
"So you hurt them to avoid more people from begin harmed?"
"You're very smart. Now you should move along. Tell your family to leave this place and head north. If they can, tell them to leave Fereldan."
The girl nodded and ran off.
Eloriel heard a small ahem behind her and spun around.
"Ah, hello there," a ginger haired woman, who was just barely taller than Eloriel greeted with a warm smile and a Orlesian accent.
"Oh! You're the one who help," Eloriel said, gesturing to the bodies the innkeeper and his workers were dragging out.
"Ah, a great first impression, no?"
