After the meal the minister stood up. 'Great students of Hogwarts, the Great Wizarding War last year depleted the magical community. Few of the remaining are able to have children to help support our society. And so the Ministry has passed a law saying that some seventh and eighth year students, who have proved valuable and eligible will be matched with another by the Sorting Hat to be married.' This was interupted by several 'Boo's!' And 'Shit's!' But the minister went on,' The rules and regulations will be told to the upperclassman once they have been paired. The students eligible are Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, Blaise Zabini, Draco Malfoy, Neville Longbottom, Justin Flinch-Fletchety, and Dean Thomas for the men. And women, Hermione Granger, Hannah Abbott, Ginny Weasley, Pansy Parkinson, Lavender Brown, Padma Patil,and Cho Chang. Let the sorting commence! I will place it upon the male's head when his name is called. First, Harry Potter.' And the moment it touched his head it yelled 'Ginny Weasley'. They ran to each other and kissed.
'Dean Thomas!' A few minutes passed, Dean getting more anxious by the minute, but finnslly the hat yelled 'Cho Chang!'
'Neville Longbottom!' Neville was almost a hat-stall, but after a while it screamed 'Hannah Abbott!'
'Justin Flinch-Fletchety!' The hat was placed upon his head and soon taken off because it yelled 'Padma Patil!'
'Ronald Weasley!' The Minister called. Ron looked seductively at Hermione, who visibly cringed at the thought.
But this hopes were let down by the hat yelling 'Lavender Brown!' And her screaming 'Ohh, I love you Won-Won!'
It was just Blaise and Draco left. Both Hermione and Pansy prayed to be paired with Draco, but Blaise's name was called first. He was matched with Pansy who was happy, but pouting. 'Just to make things fair, I have to put the hat on Draco, too.' The Minister declared. The hat immediately said Hermione, And Draco leaped of the stool, hat still on his head, and kissed Hermione full on the lips.
