Two days later...

'Ginny. Take Hermione to Hogsmeade and get her a dress. Here's a thousand galleons keep what you don't spend, if you spend more charge it to me.' Said Draco.

'OK, did you get permission from McGonagall?' Ginny asked.

'Yeah, just go! And make sure she stays away from the lake when you get back.'

'Ok! Goodbye!' Ginny called.

Draco pulled the ring from his pocket. It was beautiful. But Draco needed to find Blaise and Harry so they could start getting ready.

Hermione POV

'Why are we going shopping, again?' Hermione complained as Ginny strode down the hill and off to Hogsmeade.

'Because I need a wedding dress and you need a bridesmaid dress.' Ginny replied, walking faster yet.

'What do I need a bridesmaid's dress for?' Hermione asked quizzically.

'So you can be my maid or matron of honor, whichever applies at the time. Oh my Merlin! I forgot to ask you! Oh Hermione, I'm so sorry, about this. Will you be my maid of honor?'

'Of course I will, Ginny, you are my best friend, I would be mad if I wasn't.' Hermione giggled.

'There the dress shoppe' Ginny said as she pointed to the shoppe. 'Ooh that dress in the window is cute!'

'Yeah, it is.' Hermione answered in awestruck wonder. 'I wish I could get it.' So she and Ginny walked in and she tried it on as Ginny looked for her own dresses. The dress was long and form fitting until mid thighs and then slowly draped down with and opening curved across the front about a foot from the ground. And it had a deep "v" neckline, almost exposing her cleaveage so much they pop out. And cap sleeves, loose and graceful like flower petals. It was elegant, yet had a hint of femininity and youth that she loved.

'I've found my dress and you've found yours so let's get back to the castle.' They went to the desk and "paid". Ginny handed over the 1000 galleons to discover their dresses combined only cost 936 galleons, which is cheap for the style and designer of the dresses.

As the pair was leaving the shoppe, a little parchment bird landed on Hermione's shoulder. She read the note saying, 'Meet me at the front doors of the castle at 5:30 pm. Wear your new dress. Don't worry about supper. Love always, Draco.'
