Ginny POV
'Let's go get you cleaned up!' I said, walking briskly towards the castle. We got to the castle soon after that and hurried up to our dorm, surprised to see it empty. 'Great, now you can get ready in peace!' I said pulling her into her bedroom and taking off her jacket. 'Go put on your dress, hurry, it's 4:45!'
Hermione put on her dress and did her make up.
Hermione POV
'I better get going! Look at the time! It's almost time!'
'Good luck!' Ginny called after me as I walked out the portrait hole.
No one was in the corridors or the Great Hall which was weird, but Draco met me by the doors, in a full tuxedo, jacket and all.
'Here's my smoking babe!' Draco said with a swift smile.
'What's all this commotion about, short note, no one anywhere, a new dress, what's the big deal?'I said trying to see around him.
'Well, lets go to dinner and find out!' He said slyly. I turned towards the great hall, 'No, No, No! We are dining outdoors tonight!'
It was marvelous. A small table under the tree by the lake surrounded by candles and rose petals. The table was set for two. A white tablecloth with a large candle floating in a vase with roses and a large casserole dish of lasagna next to it. And much to my surprise, a ring box. 'Draco?' I said as I turned. He was on one knee. A ring box in his hand, the exact ring I had described to Ginny in the box.
'Hermione, you are beautiful, smart, funny, enthusiastic about everything. It has been my dream to do this since out first year. I love you. My lioness, will you marry me?' Draco asked, very solemnly.
'Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes! And it would be illegal if I don't, so...' I shouted. Jumping to him as he slid the ring on my finger and kissed me. 'How'd you know what ring I wanted, and how'd you know lasagna was my favorite food?'
'I have my sources.' Draco replied with a sly smile. 'Let's eat.' And so we sat down and ate.
'If you already proposed, what's in this box?' I asked.
'Oh just a gift for my favorite girl.' He replied casually. 'Open it.'
I slowly lifted the lid and when I did I saw two nearly identical bracelets, one with jewels one without.
'They're magic, one for you one for me, you put that on and it won't come off unless we get divorced, I cheat on you, or you choose to take it of because I died. But I highly doubt any of that is going to happen soon.' He said clasping it on my wrist, and his on too.
'I love you Draco. And now I can start planning our wedding, thank goodness Christmas is almost here, your mother can help me plan it!'
'Don't forget about what will happen when we go to the Manor though.' Draco said leading her to the doors. 'I think we should go upstairs and have some fun.'
'Well, now that we're engaged,I guess it would be reasonable.' I said, a seductive smile playing across my lips.
