Growing up in a Christian family can be tough, especially when you fit in. Imagine knowing that your type of people that your whole family despises, even your own parents, but you can't tell them.
We like to think that your parents would love you no matter what, but that isn't always the case, especially when your gay and the one everyone expects to grow into an angel.
That secret will eventually bear down and eat away at your conscious and soon it becomes harder and harder to keep your secret.
The pain and depression you feel becomes to much to handle and soon your looking for a way, a way to make it all stop.
That was basically what my life was about, running and hiding in a world of homophobes. When people do hear about it they start quoting a book that was paraphrased 3500 years ago. It just doesn't fit in to what we are grown up to believe.
No matter what you go through there is always that one person, that one friend who will always be there for us from start to finish, but sometimes that friendship will blossom and bloom until the radiant flower of love is born.
