After the party I went home like I normally did. Said good night to my parents like I normally did and went to bed.

When I woke up the next morning, I woke up to the smell of bacon and coffee. I rushed out of bed and threw some clothes on, I grabbed my bag and ran down the stairs to fix me a plate.

Mom was standing over the stove while dad was reading the newspaper and sipping on coffee. Everything seemed to okay for now, but I was terrorized for when it all changed.

"Good-morning guys." I said happily, but to my surprise they ignored me. I grabbed a few slices of bacon and a biscuit and headed toward the door. I was stopped suddenly by my dad's voice.

"Well talk when you get back from school, fag!" He called out as I slammed the front door and raced down my street tears in my eyes.

Just like everyday me and Jaylen always met up at the dinner to talk or get us a better more suitable breakfast then what our parents tried to shove down our throats. Once she saw me running toward her, I almost didn't notice Jordan standing there. I ran toward them sobbing uncontrolably.

I ran until I collided in his arms. Jordan hugged me back, but I could easily tell he was a little confused as to why I was crying, Jaylen on the other hand knew exactly why I was crying. I don't know how but she had sime kind of magical powers.

"I'm going to teach them god praising parents of yours one of these days!!" She yelled to no one in particular as she shook her fist in the air. The sight of Jaylen screaming in the air shaking her fist was kinda funny and wasn't something you'd see her do on a normal basis.

"Then I think it's official your staying over at my place tonight, or how ever long it takes them to accept you. I don't care how long it takes, you shouldn't be forced to live in that house with them. Oh and don't worry you'll be safe with me." Jordan said in my ear his deep voice sent chills throughout my body and somehow stopping the tears. I was now paralyzed as his touch itched away at my skin.

We began to walk towards the school, as cars passed by I began to think and worry about exactly who knew, but I was sure I was going to find out. Sooner than I realized as we finally reached the parking lot.

Everyone just stood their frozen in place and giving us dirty looks, some murderous. I just sank into Jordan's arms as we continued to walk through the crowd and up the steps to the main office, but it wasn't much better.

Instead of standing like statues, they began to whisper and point to each other. I really felt awkward. Even the teachers were doing it. I absolutely did not feel comfortable right now. Then my heart sunk as I noticed what a large group of people were staring at, hurdled around a bulletin board hanging in the hall.

I glanced over and saw a large print out of me and Jordan dancing the tango. As I appeared close enough were they could see me they all turned toward me with disgusted looks on their faces. Some even called out nasty and rude comments.

       "FAG!!!!"

       "Cocksucker!!!"

       "Homo!!!!"

       "Satanist!!!!"

       "Freak!!!"

       "Queer!!!!"

       "Disgusting!!!!"

The list just goes on and on and on, a never ending nightmare. Jaylen and Jordan pulled me away as the tears came back to my eyes. I began to worry if you could actually cry so much you're eyes would fall out or something. They drug away until we were in an abandoned classroom, and Jordan gently sat me down at a random desk, kneeling in front of me he placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. I heard the quiet whispering of Jaylen and Jordan arguing, but I could make out what they were saying. My eyes were burning an my throat was sore from crying, the pain they emitted was beinging to dull my other senses.

Then the soft and kind hand left my shoulder, while it was replaced with large strong arms wrapping under my body, the tears stoped, as I felt my body being lifted from the desk and up in the air. I instinctively through my arms around his shoulder and buried my face in his shoulder. I heard Jaylen sighing in disappointment, while we walked through the halls once more I heard nothing but the beating of his heart.

I could barely make out Jaylen screaming at the other students. Tell them what ever was on her mind. Before I knew it I was being sat down in Jordan's truck, but my body was to numb to react. He slowly slid in the drivers seat as he turned the key and drove away. I stared out the window hoping all of this was just a dream, that I would wake up and everything would be back to normal.

Jordan's eyes never left the road, even when I called his name, nothing. His blank expression was begging to scare me, I never noticed the tear that slowly slid down his cheek until he reached up and whipped his eyes.

The rest of the ride was just as silent as it started, but it ended to him pulling in a driveway. There were no cars, which meant nobody was home. He opened his door and closed it behind him, and walked around opening mine, once again he slid his arms underneath me and picked me up and shutting the door with his leg. He then carrying me to the front door, surprisingly it was unlocked, he continued walking until he gently closed the front door. He returned to me and knelt, taking my hands in his, he hung his head, I felt the soft and gentle taps as he cried in front of me.

"I'm so sorry Oak. I never wanted this to happen, why can't people ever be happy? I mean why do people make it there life's mission to discriminate and hate the people they barely know, or the things their scared of. You deserved none of what happened, your so much more than me. Why do you even love me? I'm nothing...." He cried as he held my hands, I felt the wetness of his tears as they landed on our hands.

I reached out and cupped his face. He slowly looked at me tears still streaming down his cheeks. His eyes were red, my body felt numb and my heart raced. I was always told things happen for a reason, so maybe all this was meant to happen.

"Jordan, it doesn't matter what I deserve, it's what I want, and I want you. I don't care if the road with you is bumpy, or smooth as long as it's you with me. Because things happen for a reason and I fell in love with you for a reason."

"But...." He began but he was interrupted by my lips softly pressing against his. That's when I heard the door knob slowly turn, and the door opened.
