"So uh what you wanna see" micheal asked me while we stood in line
"Uh that new movie perfect couple"
He nodded and once we got to the front he asked the man for 2 tickets to the perfect couple, the movie didn't start for at least a half an hour so we played a few games outside of the theater ,"uh I'm hungry you want anything ?" He asked
I nodded then follows him to the snack bar, there was so much stuff to chose from And I didn't know what the hell I was gonna get "what you want" he asked as we approached the front of the line , "I'll just take a soda"
"You sure" he smiled
As MUCH as I wanted to say everything on the got damn menu I smiled and nodded, "nothin to eat?"
"I'll just take a slice of pizza"
He smiled then ordered our things, this was going pretty well considering he's an asshole, I had to lie to my dad and say I was going grocery shopping for a project, I know he's gonna snap at me for taking so long and eventually he won't even believe me,"ready ?" He asked tossing his junk in the trash, I nodded then smiled a little, well he's not a Complete asshole. Once the movie started I started to kinda drift into sleep until my phone rang, Michael looked at me and I checked my caller ID and it was my dad I jumped up quickly and ran into the hall," hello?"
"Jada its dad, I'm just going to the grocery Mart and maybe we can meet some where in the middle"
"Uhh actually dad I'm at Carly's house now" , "whats wrong" Michael asked approaching me, my heart dropped as my dad asked who's voice that was, "that was uh the neighbor I just- almost fell and he asked if I was okay that's all"
"Okay well I'll catch you later hun"
I hung up the phone and Michael looked at me for answers, "what's wrong?" He asked again
"Nothing, nothing I just had to take that call" , he was making this more awkward then it had to be. He nodded then grabbed my hand and we walked back into the theater and started to watch the movie again, I was so ready for this movie to be over it wasn't all that it was excepted to be, "did you enjoy the movie?" Michael asked
"Yeah it was a great movie" I lied
"Okay well do you want me to drop you off at home or-
"NO, no just at my sisters house that you picked me up from"
"Okay well I had a good time maybe we could do something like this again?"
I nodded "definitely".
