"Ricky?" Angelo asked softly, knocking on Ricky's door.

"Y-Yeah?" Ricky asked shakily from inside.

"Are you okay?" Angelo asked. "We heard that scream from next door, we just wanted to check on you."

"I'm fine," Ricky breathed out.

"Can we come in?" Angelo asked.

"Who is 'we' exactly?" Ricky questioned nervously. He was still a bit shaken from his encounter with Ghost just moments earlier.

"Oh, my husband, Ryan, is with me," Angelo explained. "I know you haven't met him yet, but he's a good guy, I promise. He won't try to kill you or anything."

"Come on in, I guess," Ricky said, opening the door for them. "Sorry, the place is still kind of a mess."

"Don't worry about it," Angelo grinned. "You just moved in, it's not a big deal."

"So, what was that scream about?" Ryan asked as he sat on the couch next to Angelo.

"Oh, uh... That was nothing, really. It wasn't important," Ricky said quickly. "I just, um, broke a couple glasses, that's all."

Ricky couldn't just tell his neighbors that he saw a ghost. They would think he was losing his mind. Ghosts weren't a real thing, right? He must've just been seeing things. His mind seemed to love playing tricks on him, especially since he moved. But, he couldn't exactly tell his new neighbors that either. They would still think he was insane.

"Nothing else happened?" Angelo inquired.

"Nope," Ricky responded. "Just some broken glass."

"Why would you scream that loud about broken glass, though?" Ryan asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I was afraid I might've gotten cut by some," Ricky shrugged.

"Whatever you say," Ryan sighed.

"I'm sorry if he's coming off as rude," Angelo apologized for his husband.

"No, no," Ricky said. "It's fine."

"I wasn't trying to be rude, Ange," Ryan said, rolling his eyes. "I was trying to get the truth out of him. Why don't you tell us the truth, Rick?"

"Th-That is the truth," Ricky responded.

"Ryan, you don't know whether he's lying or not," Angelo protested.

"Yes I do, Ange," Ryan replied.

"Again, I'm sorry about his behavior," Angelo sighed. "I don't know why he's acting like this, especially after just meeting you. We'll just head home."

"Okay. I guess I'll see you guys later," Ricky said.

"Yeah, we'll see you around," Angelo responded, leading his husband out the door.

"What the hell was that, Ryan?" Angelo asked as the two stepped into their house.

"I already told you, Ange," Ryan replied. "I was trying to get him to tell the truth. You and I both know he was lying about that."

"No, Ryan, I don't," Angelo said sternly. "Why don't you enlighten me."

"Look, Ange, he wasn't telling the truth, and that's all there is to it," Ryan replied.

"No, Ryan, that's not all there is to it," Angelo responded. "I just want you to explain to me why you believe he was lying about the screams."
