*Harry's P.O.V*
Today was the last day of the U.K. leg of the tour and I just reached home a few minutes ago. It felt so nice to be back home in Cheshire. Being back to mum's cooking and Gemma's warm hot chocolates she made every time I was home. I walked into my room and plopped myself on the bed and took a deep breath. It's been a few years since I've been here. Living in L.A never felt like home for some reason, although Tanya was there and our little kitten named Jade.
Speaking of which, yes I named the kitten Jade because of my Jade. The Jade I spent the best years of my life with, who I loved dearly as a best friend. Who was a second sibling to me, she left me. Partly I blame myself for moving out with Tanya instead. But what could I have done, Tanya wanted me to live with her and Tanya's happiness means a lot to me, but I had to keep Jade happy as well, I told her I would contact her all the time but I got so busy and practically forgot. I did call her a few times, but then one time, I called her and her phone was not reachable. I tried and tried for months to contact her, find friends of hers to get her number but nothing helped. So I eventually stopped trying. I still miss her, she was the one who I could totally be myself with. Maybe this was how our friendship was suppose to end.
I got up after a few moments and a picture of Jade and I on the side table caught my attention. It was on her 19th birthday, she was smiling widely with cake all over her face and me standing there giving her a side hug with a genuine wide smile with my eyes closed. It was a memorable photograph. She was so happy on her birthday... Wait a minute... OH SHIT! SHIT SHIT SHIT I panicked immediately and rushed down to mum. "Mum!!!" I shouted out to get halfway on the stairs. "Harry, what's wrong?? Why are you panicking??" She asked me worriedly. "Have you called Jade? Did you get to contact her? Did you contact her in the past few days? Did Gemma contact her?" I asked quickly. "Woa there, calm down curly, yes we did call her. Why do you ask?" She replied. Oh shit, mum had her number all along. "It's her birthday today, well almost yesterday since it's going to be 12am in a few hours which I totally forgot about.I wasn't able to contact her so I won't be able to wish her..." I told her the truth. "Oh Harry, calm down.." She patted me on my shoulder and led me to sit on the couch with her. "You don't have to worry, she's in London you know. She changed her number, I thought you knew, so I didn't inform you. Gemma and I wished her in the morning.. Do you want to wish her right now? She must be in bed, be the special last one to wish her, she'll remember you the most" mum said. And it wasn't a bad idea. I could call her through mum so she wouldn't know it's me but when she picks up, it would be me. "Yes mum, please do. Thank you so much!" I hugged mum as she laughed. She then got up and got her phone from the coffee table and handed over to me. "Search up future daughter in law in the contacts, it's her" mum said and laughed. "Seriously mom? She's like my sister" I laughed at her joke and scrolled through the contacts on her phone. "Like.." Mum said softly and left to go to the kitchen, I think I heard her right. I shook my head. Mum and her jokes.
I found Jade's contact how mum had told me it was named and I dialled it but added the 3 numbers so it made the call look like it was a private call. It rung 6 times and then she picked up. It was Jade. Finally. "Hello?" She spoke.
