It was a few days after the announcement of the birthday party, and today was the day. Apparently, this was one of the most important days of the week and we were polished and had a few minor repairs made to us. I looked at the shine on my body and kind of liked it, but it also smelled a little strongly. It felt like they had doused us in cleaner.

"Are you excited?" Fredbear asked, leaning close to me. I put my first two fingers on his forehead and shoved him away.

"Don't be weird." I replied. He just scoffed at me, and gripped his microphone.

"You don't have to be such a buzzkill..." he muttered. I only faced forward, just wanting the day to get over with. A sour feeling had hung in the air and had put me in a bad mood, so now I just wanted to relax, but there were children to entertain. There were only a few, which was fine, but I still didn't know why it was so important. Maybe the person paying for it was really rich?

I was lost in my thoughts when I heard a metallic clank, which snapped me back to reality. I veered towards Fredbear, and to my astonishment, someone was fiddling inside his back panel. I gripped the guitar that I was holding, my eyes narrowed and my brow rose. The panel shut, and I was surprised. It was the man in purple, and he had just done something to my friend. I had to find out.

"Hey mister, what are you doing here?" I asked in a bit of a goofy voice. I wanted to seem like an animatronic, not like the human personalities Fredbear and I have been hiding. The purple man just looked at me, and bolted off of the stage. Fredbear powered back on, blinking.

"Did something happen?" he asked. I looked behind his shoulder, the purple man out of sight.

"I think the man in purple was doing something to you. It obviously wasn't good." I replied. Fredbear rolled his eyes, and sighed.

"Seriously, the purple guy? Yeah, he was tampering with the animatronics and probably planted a bomb inside of me." he said sarcastically. I wasn't proud of his joke.

"Whatever. If you start malfunctioning, don't say I didn't warn you when they take you back for scrapping." I muttered. He glared at me and faced forward.

The curtains opened again, and we began to play. I looked at Fredbear, but he looked a little confused. His eyes were scanning the area, and he kept on blinking. To be honest, he was ruining our show.

"What are you doing?!" I whispered fiercely.

"Well, you know how sometimes I stop? I can't stop!" he replied in the same tone. My eyes widened in surprise. This wasn't normal, of course, and I believed that the purple man had something to do with this.

"Hey, I'm gonna get off the stage to see if I can find the purple man. Just...try not to screw up, alright?" I asked him in a low tone. We're able to get off the stage sometimes just to entertain the people a little more closely, so it wouldn't seem suspicious at all.

I walked off the stage and passed a group of boys surrounding a little boy. I paused to look at them for a minute, and saw that they were teasing the little one. I walked up to them and they all stopped what they were doing and looked up at me, the littlest one pale with fear.

"Are you kids having a good time?" I asked, following my dialogue.

"Yeah, sure, whatever Spring Bonnie." the one in a fox-shaped mask replied in a belligerent tone. I just wanted to tear it off, but I couldn't scare the customers away. There was nothing I could do without breaking my character, so I just walked away, still searching for the man in purple.

I eventually found him, and he was looking around as if searching for someone. His eyes laid on me, and he smirked. I walked over to him, trying to seem as lifeless as possible, but I'm sure he saw the curiosity in me. He tipped his hat to me and I noticed his security guard outfit.
