So sorry for not updating in months, but I've been on a constructive hiatus! Good excuse, bad excuse, I'm nit sure what this qualifies as...
Here's the chapter you guys wanted!
I don't own Hetalia or any of its characters. Hidekaz Himayura (I think?) does.

..:THIRD PERSON P.O.V:..
Kayla and her father sat at the dinner table, finishing up of what was left of their dinner for that night. When she did finish, her father kindly took her dishes and utensils from her to dump them in the sink. Kayla smiled graciously.
"Thanks, Dad~" she said, re-doing her hair into a high bun. Her father responded with a large grin, which mirrored that of his daughter's. The country cats watched with mild interest, as they had already finished their own dinners a while ago.
'That was delicious!' England sighed as he patted his full stomach with his paw. France shot England a dirty look.
'It was sliced ham, black sheep of Europe!' France growled. England glared at France. 'What's that supposed to mean, you frog?!'
' It means that your tastebuds were killed from all your terrible crap you call food!'
England pounced on France, who was hissing and mewing loudly. Kayla's head snapped in their direction to see the two in an intense tussle. She shot up from her chair and swept each cat from each other, England nestled in her tight embrace. But it was anything but loving.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Kayla growled. England looked up at her with guilty eyes and France looked away from Kayla's hard glare. Kayla groaned and walked to the living room, the cats at her heels.
She set England on the coffee table and put her hands on her hips. She grabbed one of his paws and smacked it softly, frowning at England.
"I can't believe you; I thought you would act a bit more mature than that, Crumpet. " Kayla said sharply. She turned on her heels to look down at France.
"And you, Romeo!" Kayla shook her head, "I didn't think you would ever fight anyone!"
Kayla tightened her hand into a fist and landed a soft pound to France's head. France winced and looked away, dejected. Kayla huffed and closed her eyes, calming down.
"Look," she opened her eyes again to gaze lovingly at all the cats, "we're all a family as of now. Brothers don't fight brothers, okay? You have to look out for each other when I'm not here."
England hopped down from the coffee table and stopped in front of Kayla. He rubbed his head on her shins, apologizing for his earlier mistake.
"I know, Crumpet, and I forgive you. Just don't let it happen again." Kayla mumbled, crouching to sweep England into her arms. She hugged him briefly before placing him down next to France. "But apologize to him"
England glared at France momentarily before staring at the ground, mumbling a hasty apology. France smirked (as much as a cat could) and perked his ear up.
'I'm sorry, what was that, Angleterre~?' France purred. England's fur raised on end and he growled softly.
'I'm. Sorry.' He stretched, glaring daggers at France. France chuckled and sat up, pride swelling. 'Apology accepted, Angleterre~'
"Great! Now, Romeo, apologize to Crumpet." Kayla ordered. France slouched over and gasped at Kayla, who was standing straight and impatiently tapping her foot with her arms crossed over her chest.
'Ugh, I apologize...' France growled almost incoherently. England chortled and pointed his nose into the air.
'Apology denied~'
'What?!'
Kayla clapped her hands loudly, a smile on her face. "Now that we got that over with, it's late! Let's go back up stairs!"
She ran up the stairs and the cats followed, watching her bound through the second floor of the house. They all walked into Kayla's room and stared at her while she rifled through her dresser for pajamas. She pulled out fleece shorts and a baggy shirt that had an anime character on it.
She pulled her towel down from its place on a drying rack and walked into the bathroom, but coming back out to get underwear. She disappeared into the bathroom, but France stopped the door from closing with his paw. After about five minutes, the water stopped and sloshed. Kayla relaxed into the warm water and smiled.
France trotted into the bathroom and perched himself on the toilet seat, fixing his long fur. England hissed from the doorway. 'What are you doing, you pervert?!' France ignored him.
Kayla opened her eyes (they had been closed before) and her eyes immediately landed on France, who was staring directly at her. She squeaked and went deeper into the water so her chin was touching the surface. Her knees stuck up through the soapy water.
"Romeo! How did you get in here?!" She whined, frowning. France chuckled lewdly and gazed at Kayla, licking his paw quite leisurely. Kayla huffed and lifted her hand to point to the door. "Out. Now, Romeo." She growled.
France shrugged and hopped gracefully from his seat and sauntered out the bathroom. China clucked his tongue distastefully and shut the door with his paw. China shot France a dirty look, which France ignored. Again.
'Don't ever do that again!' England growled from his place on top of one of Kayla's pillows. France looked up at him and swished his tail with defiance.
'You know you wanted to do the same, Angleterre~' France drawled out before jumping onto the bed himself and nestling in the mass of unmade blankets. England blushed (if you could see it) and turned away, muttering multiple insults.
Kayla stepped out of the bathroom, steam flowing out behind her. She left the door open as she hung her towel and dumped her clothes into the hamper. She reached for her deodorant, uncapping it. She put on the deodorant and put the cap back on before tossing it back onto her dresser top.
"Come on kittens, Dad is waiting for us downstairs!" She chirped, in much better mood that she was squeaky clean and in pajamas. The cats went back downstairs, except for one.
"Come on, Maple! You're a part of the family too, you know!" Kayla assured before disappearing into the hallway. Canada blinked, surprised. He sat there for a while before shaking his head and smiling as much as he could.
'Coming!' He said, getting used to all the attention. He bounded downstairs but he didn't make it into the living room. Instead, Kayla swept him into her embrace.
"I'd knew you'd come." She said. Canada looked up at her shyly. Kayla only chuckled and walked into the living room, where the rest of the cats and her father were waiting patiently. Canada looked at his surroundings and smiled a bit.
This was home.

I think I may have made it sound as if the book was over, but trust me, it isn't. I can't help but make these chapters fluffy, but eventually (especially with me) there will be at least one angst chapter. Sorry.
Signing off,
